August 8, 20159 yr Is 68k good for TLC? Excellent ratings for Emmerdale all week, shame they couldn't overtake Corrie at any point but I guess the additional viewers of Emmerdale tuned into Corrie too. Same goes to Eastenders, since they got their highest Thursday figure since May and highest Friday figure since June, I believe. Strange really, August is usually the worst month for soap ratings but, looking at my EE ratings stats , the average rating per month for EE has been consistent since April.
August 8, 20159 yr I think TLC would have been expecting more really, going off April's previous post on Katie's previous 'record-breaking' audience. 257,000 (1.1%) - compare to slot average of 59,000 (0.3%)
August 8, 20159 yr Author As Froot said, I think TLC will be disappointed with that figure. For all the hype around Hopkins, you'd expect it to be much higher.
August 8, 20159 yr 68,000 wasn't enough to get into TLC's top ten last week. Their tenth highest figure was 97,000.
August 10, 20159 yr Expecting Match Of The Day to comfortably be the highest rated programme for Saturday.

August 20, 20159 yr ~15m for the Bake Off final is surely very possible if it's already getting 10m in the overnights? Incredible stuff!
August 20, 20159 yr Bake Off is surely going to peak with this series. It feels very consciously edited these days (but maybe that's just me) and that's usually when the shines starts to go off it.
