Hopefully that's it for Eastenders being pushed around the schedule, although it still has clashes coming with football (Friday 27 March) and Emmerdale (Thursday 2 April).

Oops at a Neighbours documentary getting higher ratings than the 30th anniversary episode!

Not surprised at those low ratings for 'The Billion Pound Chicken Shop', it felt bizarre to be shown at 9pm on BBC One. Normally, those types of shows are on BBC Three.

Do they still do 2 viewings of Neighbours and Home & Away a day on Channel 5? If so, it might not be as surprising (unless that figure is its combined rating). :P

Yeah they still have a lunchtime showing which often gets around 600k+ in its own right.

Do you know what sort of audiences Million Pound Drop was getting when it as live? It seems to have lost a lot of its edge now that it is all pre-recorded. Do the viewing figures suggest that other people agree?

Good Friday ratings for Eastenders considering the week it has had; I was expecting ~5.9m so to beat the second Corrie is good going.

With Mick, Linda, Ian, Jane and Phil back next week, as well as the continuation of Sharon's storyline, hopefully things can pick up again both quality and ratings wise.

It used to get around 2m+ in its first few series. Then in 2012 it dropped to around ~1.5m. The final live series was attracting just over 1m viewers overnight. So it made sense to pre-record since it was dropping so much, but of course now it barely manages 1m viewers.

That's higher overnights than normal for Alan Carr, I'm guessing that having Steph & Dom on it managed to keep some of 'Gogglebox''s audience.

Nearly 1 million higher for The Voice than last year too!

'Ordinary Lives' up week-on-week then. I've yet to catch-up on iPlayer but I do intend to. I was going to try watch as many BBC dramas as I liked this year but so far I've only enjoyed 'Silent Witness'. Here's to 'The Syndicate', 'In the Club' and 'Happy Valley' later in the year!

I don't understand why Channel 4 have made a new series of 'Three in the Bed' and put it on primetime? As much as I like the show, it's become so accustomed to daytime that it feels weird having a new series on in primetime. At least when 'Come Dine With Me' is on primetime, it's a celebrity one.
