If that's the case, it will probably be made album only (like 'Beating Heart' was on the Divergent soundtrack). I can't imagine Ellie's fans will all be buying the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack en masse, so I doubt it'd hinder its sales TOO much.

I don't think it'll have much trouble going platinum (600k). Hopefully the NTA will give the song a strong enough boost to stay top 10 come Sunday.

That would be great. I'm just a pessimist and worry about a sudden drop. I think he was around 435k as of last Sunday and yes it would be great if he could stay Top ten again. The track is very radio friendly and getting decent airplay on Heart/Capital etc can only help.

The Weeknd has shot right up since the release of the video for 'Earned It', up to #24 - looks like it could be his highest peaker at this rate especially with the film release! (Obviously not counting 'Elastic Heart').

 

Hozier looking like he might overtake Meghan to #2 soon. Eep.
