It's currently #1 and has broken streaming records etc etc, looks like it's gonna be sticking around for a looooong time. When do you think it will first leave the Top 40 entirely?

 

I reckon it won't be til early 2016! I've gone for Feb '16.

December. There are too many 'when will Uptown Funk....?' threads dotted around the forum. I know it's massive, but some people need a hobby.
I'm not bothered when it leaves the top 40 which I reckon could be October. I just want it to leave #1
I think it will leave during Summer but will then rocket back towards the end of the year.
I am thinking November could be pheasible

I've gone for October 2015, though it seems the type of song that'll likely re-enter.

 

We could all be far too optimistic here - people could be fed up of it by February and it drops like a stone!

Personally I don't think that will happen. However, I said June 2015, towards the end of the month. Depending on whether someones launches a petition to remove streaming from the chart or not.

if downloads and streaming existed back then I doubt it would've fallen out the chart so fast, I imagine shops bought less of the single after it fell from #1.

I reckon it will be just about squeezed out in the Chrimbo mêlée~

This was in the physical era though. I've looked at other chart runs from that time period and they're the same, fast climbs to a peak and then fast drops. Nowadays for big hits it's fast climbs to a peak (usually) and really, really, really slow drops.
