January 23, 201511 yr I hope he can knock Ed Sheeran, Lilly Wood or Calvin Harris out by Sunday Speaking of which, I'm assuming that yet again, Blame and Sing have overtaken Changing. Am I correct?

January 23, 201511 yr with Bjork climbing the chart Above & Beyond will definitely miss the top 10 then :( shame as it's such an amazing album but I'm surprised it's doing this well anyway, their last studio album only went to #49!
January 23, 201511 yr No Changing is ahead of both tracks Mart!n, you've just made my day by saying that (though unfortunately, Blame and Sing could still catch up by Sunday, especially if one of them is one place behind Changing).
January 23, 201511 yr I hope Hozier doesn't take Meghan, I really like 'Lips Are Movin' now. I hope Sia can make the top 10 on Sunday... damn you Ben Haenow. <_<

January 23, 201511 yr Heroes (We Could Be) is doing so much better than Wicked Games by Parra for Cuva! It's also beating Heroes by David Bowie. (27-26-25-24-25-25-34-39)

(27-26-25-24-25-25-34-39) Not sure how those two are really that comparable :kink: Wicked Games had much less commercial appeal, and airplay, than Heroes has
January 23, 201511 yr Not sure how those two are really that comparable :kink: Wicked Games had much less commercial appeal, and airplay, than Heroes has Both peaked at 6, and more importantly, both are reworkings of well-known songs (Wicked Games is a reworking of Wicked Game by Chris Isaac, and Heroes (We Could Be) is a reworking of Heroes by David Bowie)
January 23, 201511 yr Both peaked at 6, and more importantly, both are reworkings of well-known songs (Wicked Games is a reworking of Wicked Game by Chris Isaac, and Heroes (We Could Be) is a reworking of Heroes by David Bowie) they're 2 completely different songs though, the only similarity is the 'we could be heroes' lyrical idea
January 23, 201511 yr Heroes (We Could Be) is a reworking of Heroes by David Bowie) Have you even heard the track by David Bowie, it doesn't even sound nothing like it.
January 23, 201511 yr I was wondering about this, because I remember laughing at the suggestion that Will.I.Am's 'Bang Bang' had anything to do with the Sonny Bono song and it turned out that they had given him a credit on it. Does anyone know officially what the position is with 'Heroes'?

" OK, well it certainly doesn't look like it's enough to be even partially taken. If a song says "dance all night" and another one says the same words... yes? Any other comparisons? From a quick glance of the lyrics I do not see any, oops  Edited January 23, 201511 yr by SPINUMINATI ADAM

Does anyone know officially what the position is with 'Heroes'? Bowie does indeed have a credit on Alesso's track.
January 24, 201511 yr Bowie does indeed have a credit on Alesso's track. I would imagine that's probably to prevent a lawsuit over the singular line that's similar to the Bowie song
January 24, 201511 yr Friday Update Top 40 Only ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Albums 1 Fall Out Boy - American Beauty / American Psycho * 2 Mark Ronson - Uptown Special * Very surprised to see FOB still top! :o
January 24, 201511 yr Have you even heard the track by David Bowie, it doesn't even sound nothing like it. I have actually, and they don't sound similar. However, usually remixes don't sound anything like the original, but they're still reworking of the track!
