Im slowly coming around to this actually.

I am as well to be fair. It has a lot more implications for the events AFTER and there are so much more potentials for storylines rather than if an adult killed her as they would no doubt have to go to jail. I guess the reason why it was so annoying was because Bobbys always been a very, very minor character but I suppose its a good way of starting to introduce him as an important character now he is growing up.

I'm reserving my full judgement until I've seen the aftermath episode tonight. The killer itself isn't what's important - it's the impact on those around Bobby, the build-up and the aftermath. The build-up was amazing, so I've no doubt the aftermath will also be amazing.
I'm hoping last night's reveal won't put people off watching tonight. A lot of people have said they're not going to continue watching but whether that was just heat of the moment comments or whether they were people who watched the show regularly, I'm not sure.

What time is this on tonight?

It's not like the topic subtitle tells you ;)

I thought Jane was Lucy's killer pretty early on in the story line, it only occurred to me a couple of weeks ago that the only reason she would kill Lucy is to protect her child, but then the thought of Bobby being the murderer crossed my mind and of course Jane would cover it up for him since he is her son so I wasn't all that surprised by the reveal.

I really hope they do a good job of the aftermath though, and don't turn Bobby Beale into another Ben Mitchell, knowing EastEnders Jane will tell Ian the truth and Jane will either leave with Bobby or Bobby will be shipped off to live with some distant relative or friend abroad so nobody ever finds out the truth and then in so many years time Bobby will return to Walford (played by a new actor) either to be close to Lucy again and to unburden himself of the guilt he feels for killing her - or he will come back a villain, the latter is probably the most likely given EastEnders history

I don't think Bobby even realises that he's responsible for her death. It's a shame we didn't see what happened after Jane came round. I imagine she ushered Bobby upstairs and Max helped her dump Lucy's body. In which case, Bobby has no reason to believe he killed her. So that will certainly be interesting to see how Ian's attitude towards Bobby and changes and whether he'll become aware of what he did.

WHAT is this ending? The promo for Guetta/Emeli *.*

Brilliant for a live episode, a couple of random camera pans and sound effects but very good/emotional overall.

Those scenes with the Beales at the end were incredibly heartbreaking.
Aw that was a brilliant end to a brilliant week! That promo for David/Emeli! *.* And not one mistake from the cast I don't think! Just a couple of minor camera issues.
The Acting from the Beale family was amazing there. Peter is such a crap sibling though. Never liked this Peter anyway, can't wait for him to leave. Half hope the rest if the Beales stitch him up for the murder. Bobby>>>>>>>>>>>>>Peter

Love the ending, quite fitting really to 30 years of Eastenders

As for the episode it was a bit of a tear jerker had me in tears most of the time. The child actor Eliot just pull it off. Well done to the Beales.
