I was going to suggest they'd show an episode from each decade but I don't think there's really anything that iconic from the 2010s. Perhaps the 25th anniversary live episode?

I think showing the first episode is inevitable and the suggestions of the Christmas Day divorce papers, Sharongate and Who Shot Phil? are all really good shouts and probably most likely. If not, the aftermath of Kat revealing she's Zoe's mum could be and there's plenty of great episodes from when Diederick Santer was in charge (2007-10).

I've seen people suggest on Digital Spy that they might reshow Good Friday's episode on the Thursday since it's the only HD slot (and therefore the only episode from post Christmas 2010) and also it will obviously be just after the killer reveal and before the flashback episode.

#100-#61

I watched The Greatest Cliffhangers (as well as the main show, the first time since Lucy's death) last night and it brought back so many memories! I remember the programme from the 25th and they've clearly reused a lot of footage from the original screening but it was nice to see a couple of newer characters too. I'm gonna take a guess at the top 20 (in alphabetical order as the top two will very likely be the same as last time):

Abi Branning :jameela:

Alfie Moon

Bianca Jackson

Billy Mitchell

Den Watts

Dot Branning

Grant Mitchell

Ian Beale

Jean Slater (possibly not but I assume she would be top 100!)

Kat Moon

Kathy Mitchell

Max Branning

Pat Evans

Peggy Mitchell

Peter Beale (same as Jean)

Phil Mitchell

Ronnie Mitchell

Sharon Mitchell

Stacey Branning

And I can't think of a 20th other than Mo Harris and I doubt she's even had one

EDIT:

JANINE BUTCHE

!!! :D

Also back during the anniversary/flashback is

Rainie!

:D

Can the killer still be Ronnie?

No. She doesn't appear in the Friday episode.

Really excited for next week!

I think two people are involved. One person killed Lucy, by mistake/intention, then someone has helped cover it up by moving her body to the common.

I think it could be Cindy, if it turns out to be Abi I'll be annoyed unless there's a good reason behind it in the reveal but I hope we're not disappointed!

Also, I can't help but feel Nick's exit felt a bit rushed (even though an interview said it would be fairly low key) amid all the innuendo of Thursday's episode, will be interesting to see how that story continues.

Agreed. I was expecting something low key as I read that interview too but I was still underwhelmed. Sorry to say it but Dot was a bit dreadful too. :(

Digital Spy's spoilers seem to suggest Nick isn't dead yet, but I'm assuming that's an error/red herring.

He's STILL alive!

There's so many references to EE history in today's episode. Nick lying in the position Reg Cox died, Dot asking for Dr Legg (Walford's original GP) and Nick grabbing Dot's leg in the same way Dirty Den grabbed Chrissie's foot just before he died.

He's STILL alive!

.

Not ANYMORE

I think tonight's episode confirms it's Lauren knows what happened between Max/Abi and Lucy but not necessarily that they were the killer. I think she left Peter and feels uneasy about going to the Beale house because she believes either Max or Abi killed Lucy and therefore feels guilty herself, and that's also why she kept back the yellow piece of paper with the number on it.
Only 6 days to go, I still have my suspicions on Peter, its just niggling at me for some reason, but the way Lauren looked at Jane in tonight's episode makes me think its Jane now.
There was basciallt something that made me suspect everyone could be the killer  Lauren was quite uneasy when Denise came in for example. But I think I'd be surprised now if it wasn't a Branming or Beale - obviously the former is Lauren's own family and she's engaged to be married into the Beales so they're both close to her and she's going to be a bit apprehensive about reporting it. I think if it was say Denise she'd just call the police really?

Denise>>>>>>>>>>>>>Jane

It's being played out wonderfully. I still can't fathom who the killer is. I'm thinking Peter or Jane but that's all hunches.

I agree.

It's 100% a branning or beale.
