February 22, 201511 yr Author ~PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT~ (2 of them actually) Starting from this week the 'weeks on chart' figures will cover the entire top 100 where possible, tying in with the OCC's website revamp which now includes top 100 archives. This will only have a noticeable impact on albums released before 2007 so not a major change, but I thought I should probably point it out ~ Also, Dan has kindly agreed to start posting the sales-only album chart (and stream-only album chart if such a thing exists) after the upcoming integration of streaming into the chart.
February 22, 201511 yr A litter of Drake tracks among the bottom of the 100, repeating what Nothing Was The Same did. BAM at #52
February 22, 201511 yr So happy for David and Emeli going top 20! Fingers crossed for top 10 next week providing the Brits effect doesn't harm it's chances! Ellie still going strong, hopefully another 100k+ week. She should easily hold on this week but the following week looks interesting with Years & Years and Alex Adair both out
February 22, 201511 yr Bars & Melody getting the dreaded '29 on sales- 52 officially' that CHVRCHES had last year! But, they're the number 1 physical ahead of the irrelevant Love Me Like You Do at number 6 so it's not all bad B-)
February 22, 201511 yr Ellie still going strong, hopefully another 100k+ week. She should easily hold on this week but the following week looks interesting with Years & Years and Alex Adair both out I think if Ellie's sales hold up well enough she could easily get 5/6+ weeks at the top. Years & Years might run her close but by then she'll still have a near 20k streaming advantage Susanne Sundfor smashing the top 100 albums!
February 22, 201511 yr Bakermat down to #42  'Teach Me' should of been massive. Edited February 22, 201511 yr by gavindeejay
February 22, 201511 yr Ellie has a physical? I want it! Is it another German import? YAY at a top five album for Texas, it's really reminded me how great they are. A shame that Carnival Girl is missing but they've clearly disowned the entire Careful What You Wish For era so fair enough  So weird how much Sugar has caught on, Animals sounded like a way bigger hit...but obviously topped out with a top 30 peak. The Weeknd #4, Pavel must feel like a proud father!
February 22, 201511 yr YAY at a top five album for Texas, it's really reminded me how great they are. You shouldn't ever need reminding
February 22, 201511 yr Yay for Susanne Sundfor top 100 on the albums :cheer: My first great plug dj discovery
February 22, 201511 yr You shouldn't ever need reminding  True, I just lost a bit of interest with The Conversation which I didn't think was all that good :( (the title track aside) But I love the new songs on this collection and all the reworkings.
February 22, 201511 yr True, I just lost a bit of interest with The Conversation which I didn't think was all that good :( (the title track aside) But I love the new songs on this collection and all the reworkings. The reworking of 'The Conversation' is weirdly my favourite remake.
February 22, 201511 yr Ellie has a physical? I want it! Is it another German import? Seemingly so.. Discogs lists it as a CD single available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Polydor with ref. 0602547217875 Tracklisting is: 1 Love Me Like You Do (Radio Edit) 3:52 2 Love Me Like You Do (Instrumental Version)
February 22, 201511 yr I think if Ellie's sales hold up well enough she could easily get 5/6+ weeks at the top. Years & Years might run her close but by then she'll still have a near 20k streaming advantage Susanne Sundfor smashing the top 100 albums! I assume Ellies 'sales' could be around 65k next week so 90k max and Years & Years should do around the same overall from its preorder so it should get the No1, after that it depends on how well King does on streams if it'll be no1 for more than 1 week.
February 22, 201511 yr Great to see maroon 5 doing so well! Great band and have the ability to change and adapt with every album to keep themselves relevant. Good job.
