February 25, 201510 yr She could've made it look planned though if she continued singing immediately because the fall fitted with the lyrics of the song. Sorry that does sound insensitive considering it looked quite painful and her age.
February 25, 201510 yr it's already on YouTube  6TRPyeVmVDA well done to her for getting on with the rest of the song afterwards, it was a good performance overall And it's already been played/being played about 5 times on Plug Dj already
February 25, 201510 yr To be fair to Madonna, that was so professional... That would have been unexpected and would have hurt. A lot. Nevermind about having a chord yanked tight around her neck. She looked understandably distressed but carried on somehow and I'd say she just about rescued it.

February 25, 201510 yr Sorry that does sound insensitive considering it looked quite painful and her age. Well i think she proved that age really isn't a matter for her, as she gave the most high-octane performance of the night, with live vocals too despite a nasty fall at the start. There's life in the old dog yet ~
February 25, 201510 yr The most awkward part is when she tries to tear the cape off and it just won't come off!
February 25, 201510 yr https://vine.co/v/O2KZvjdx5EwLMFAO! THAT WAS QUICK! Amazing. A Sweet Chin Music might have been better for that though
February 25, 201510 yr What happened to Kanye though? Half the performance was muted even though we had passed 9pm
February 25, 201510 yr What happened to Kanye though? Half the performance was muted even though we had passed 9pm  Suppose it's down to a lot of the audience at home being young, plus judging from the slip of 'n******' at the beginning, the language was pretty obscene.
February 25, 201510 yr Suppose it's down to a lot of the audience at home being young, plus judging from the slip of 'n******' at the beginning, the language was pretty obscene. Surely they were aware in advance and would've asked him to perform a different song? I just don't understand. What a shambles.
February 25, 201510 yr I guess that's something to do with Kanye being a last minute replacement for Rihanna pulling out. :(
February 25, 201510 yr My thoughts on the evening: - Mostly a fab set of winners! Kinda wish George Ezra got a look in though, poor guy  - Paloma Faith had the best performance, wonderful staging and vocals. - 1D keeping their yearly tradition of winning at least one BRIT :heehee: :cheer: - Kanye being muted was absolutely HILARIOUS. - Madge :drama: I did kinda laugh but was also a little mortified, so unexpected. Well done to her for carrying on!! Oh and James Bay sounded flawless just now on the After Party with Hold Back the River  This guy better be huge.
February 25, 201510 yr I guess that's something to do with Kanye being a last minute replacement for Rihanna pulling out. :( Yes, because they managed to get all those people together at 24 hours' notice. #CallMeACynic
February 25, 201510 yr OMG at 'Velcro' being the second to top trend on Twitter! I can't wait to see Gogglebox's reaction to the Brits.
February 25, 201510 yr Erm, Madonna isn't that old. She's only two years older than I am. she was born the same year as me, and that fall would have stunned anyone, so she recovered pretty well. I wouldn't like to be her dancers right now.... Kanye was muted on taste grounds - the grounds that it's years since he did anything decent. He should have donated his slot to Beyonce cos the poor dear needs the publicity badly....
