Oh well I didn't know where to register for the ones you can participate in within 3 months. It also states you need to create country before doing those. Now I am really confused

I'm sorry but the rules state you need at least 3 months of membership before you are able to join this contest :D

(Ofcourse mods could make an exception sicne you competed in PJ already, but idk)

It's 3 months to enter, you can sign up before that ~

:hi: DJHazey. I also enter PJSC sometimes but not with anything you'd remember probably. I got top 10 with machineheart once :magic:

I meant that oops :kink:

(Welcome Hazey!)

Oh okay it said something about having to "enter spin-off contest for the first three months to eliminate alias countries, but having to choose your country/capital for those too"

I don't know why I am getting flack for saying I entered in PJSC before, is that a bad word around here? :o

I've gotten Top 10 four times in that contest, but never won...so I don't think I am that much of a threat. imaduck/Oricon can confirm that if you ask them.

I was a bit confused seeing that 'DJHazey' name around and thinking 'he's a new poster apparently but that name sounds really familiar?'. Now I know why! Greetings DJHazey from Trifoski :hi: (i.e. 'seven.' from PJSC)

:hi: DJHazey

not heard of you before as I don't really follow PJSC (not a PJ member). hopefully you don't flop as much as Oricon anyway (he always does badly in every contest, it's not like he has over a year of a qualifying streak or anything :heehee:)

That's not flack, it's just Spinning Trevor not knowing what PJSC is :P

What does well in PJSC is often very different to what does well in BJSC - see Findlay coming 2nd there and DNQing here vs. SANNI coming 2nd here and 33rd there - so if you don't do too well over there that might actually be a GOOD thing. Of course you could just end up flopping in both like Totto

Anyway with the spinoff thing, there is currently one of those running here, too late to enter it but you can vote in it if you want. This was the first spinoff for a while so not sure if there are plans for another one any time soon.
We all hate Oricon.

Can we stay like this forever...? :music:

I thought that too but I think there's a regular poster in the chart threads beginning with DJ

I don't think he was referring to my post -_-

You were literally the only person who responded to him mentioning PJSC...

Maybe there was a deleted post about it

No? Oh...

Or it could be Cody's post about we all being screwed

Oh Oricon has the same reputation over here that he has at PJSC. Good to know. They have an extremely strict veto policy over there, so we are still talking about how he somehow got a Zara Larsson song through veto, and it happened like 15 contests ago.

So PJSC has a veto?

Hmm, it would appear our knockoffs are getting more realistic. Not that we are entirely original of course, but I don't think a single imported rule remains from NSC and we're a totally different beast these days.

PJSC does not have a veto the way it is in BJSC. It's completely different in that it's based on the percentage the panel members are willing to give the song and average it between the 4/5. Anything below 50% gets binned and any over passes.

Zara Larsson lmao, we're not that cheap here thankfully aside from a few questionable veto passes (Hot Chip), you'll like it here. She did win BJSC before she got veto-worthy though fyi.

True story, Oricon sent a song here and it got vetoed, then he sent it again the following month. And won with it. Cheapest person going (apart from Ryan).

That sounds odd and based more on personal taste rather than promoting unknown music.

I wasn't the one who made it, so I'm not the one to blame for that system. I've criticised it numerous times as well. That being said though it's more based on artist veto compared to the song although if it's a highly blogged song then it would be a goner too.
