What did Kelly Clarkson's previous albums open with for comparison?

40,509 My December (#2, 2007)

39,858 All I Ever Wanted (#3, 2009)

29,233 Stronger (#5, 2011)

20,624 Greatest Hits: Chapter One (#26, 2012)

17,631 Breakaway (#10, 2005)

4,981 Wrapped In Red (#65, 2013)

Not sure about Thankful but it debuted at #95 so probably her slowest starter.

So her most successful studio albums since 'Breakaway' (not including the Xmas album) start off slower than the least successful ones ('Stronger' has sold more than AIEW, right?) PBP will break that tradition though unfortunately. Still loving this album though.
Funny to see 'My December' as her highest first week sale (and her highest peaking album). A pity that era didn't develop into greater success.
My December is still Kelly's greatest album IMO - if her label had been more supportive and it had been a success I think subsequent albums would have been very different. Although Stronger did have some great tracks too. For me (Thankful aside as I don't really count that) All I Ever Wanted is her weakest and My December is her strongest.
All Day sounded fantastic on the radio. I hope this manages to be a top 10 hit for him at some point.

I didn't get a chance to hear it, but my first thought was that it would have been severely butchered like it was at the Brits  so it works with censoring too, that is good to hear! (i guess they just censor "n****" and the rest is normal..)

All I Ever Wanted had some killer tracks on it. I'd at least say Stronger, Thankful and this new one are weaker. (although the new one is better than I was expecting)

Yep, 'Stronger' should be near enough to platinum at this stage. It was on 262k by Y/E 2012.

Total sales for Kelly's albums as of October 2011 (don't think there've been any more recent updates):

Breakaway: 1,557k

All I Ever Wanted: 192k

Thankful: 148k

My December: 148k

Hopefully Rihanna can overtake Marlon before the end of the week. I want 45S to peak top3.

FFS is #01 on Spotify & #03 on iTunes.

Marlon is #53 on Spotify & #06 on iTunes.

There is no doubt possible Rihanna will overtake Marlon this week.

Top 5 sales added, with the update on page 1 or previous page

Kelly Clarkson's album is on sales of 8.0k

Yeah, it sounded fine. I wasn't even thinking about he censoring. The Allan Kingdom parts especially just sound so good.

Judging by those sales, Marlon could miss the top 5. :(

1 Years & Years - King (55,9k) *

2 Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (31.2k)

3 Marlon Roudette - When The Beat Drops Out (24.3k) *

4 Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney - FourFive Seconds (23.3k)

5 Hozier - Take Me To Church (21.6k)

It could be #3 and #5 swapping places by Sunday. I'd like 45s to go #5 but I can see Marlon drop to #4, maybe #5

Im sorry but Rihanna has #3 pretty much on lock this week... She is #1 on spotify and selling much more than #3 and #5

Well I don't.

Rihanna haters *rolls eyes* Can you not?

You may not love this song but its obvious it deserves AT LEAST a top 3 peak. Lack of streaming screwed it over until now... But regardless, it is a huge success and has been holding top 3 on iTunes pretty much since release 6 weeks ago. I hardly think Marlon Roudette deserves a higher placing.

The peak of 45S doesn't matter as it is obvious Rihanna was never bothered about where it peaked. She'd be sat on a #1 right now had she held it back in the UK and had it on pre-order for 4 weeks and had sales and streaming all impact in one week.
She could stop Usher or Flo Rida from knocking Years & Years off the top spot next week

Lower sales for Y&Y than I had anticipated, judging by the lead on iTunes etc..

Hoping Kelly can do 12k in the albums at least.
