I'm watching BOTS in case there's some sort of explanation, god help me.

There certainly is and the house is certainly going to be shook up quite a bit. Quite interested in how everything's going to turn out!

4 new housemates in on Friday to replace them, Rylan just said. That I can actually get behind, we really need newbies.

Isn't Joel safe?

He is, yes. Oops, shows the attention I'm paying to this series :drama:

I'll miss the twins, shame really liked them :( Glad Harriet's surely off :cheer: I so wish jack didn't save himself ugh.

Tbh I just really want Sarah to survive, she is my favourite by miles

The thing is I can genuinely see Kieran and Danny staying of these 6 :drama: Maybe Chloe instead of Kieran. Being a vote to evict I can see this being like the quad eviction before the series 10 final, and we'll lose Sarah and the twins (plus probably Harriet and either Chloe or Kieran, who'd be less of a loss as much as I love Chloe). I'm liking Danny a bit more, but I think he's disposable. I really want Sarah to stay and also Chloe, because she's likeable and normal but not TOTALLY boring. It'd be terrible if she went now, I think she has so much more to give that she hasn't given because she's not been shown enough.

I hope there's an older person in for Eileen, some more eye candy, and a sassy female who gives us moments but is endearing to the public.

Oh. While the entire series has been made into a complete joke, this WILL spice it all up. They will not be happy at going when not even nominated and i don't think a lot of fans will either. I can clearly see why they have done this and it will get rid of a lot of deadwood but it has completely cheapened the entire series.

I am longing for a return to a more simpler Channel 4 Big Brother but those days are long gone now so might as well embrace this bonkers mayhem i guess... :(

They should have done this with a vote to SAVE and the whole house being up, as that would have been a lot more fair.

I agree. I actually do think in practice this is a brilliant twist, but executed awfully. It's not giving us a choice to swap housemates, in fact it's potentially going to rid us of two popular housemates (Danny and Sarah, who are both top 3 in the odds). Especially Sarah because she's a bigger character than any of those up for eviction!

Jade's continuing to grow on me, but I just wish she'd accept her role as series villain a bit more. There's the inevitable comparison with the likes of Noirin and Hazel and neither of them were as self-pitying as Jade. I really like Aaron as well. I feel like he's just me when I've had a drink. "Well you like Katy Perry so you're half way there mate".

Not sure how I feel about a quadruple eviction. The series has been off to a slow start, and any drama has had to be manipulated out of them, but I feel like things have kicked into gear a bit more over the last few days. I hope the result isn't as predictable as the 2 boys surviving, but I'll be happy to see the back of Harriet.

Oh god actually thinking about it, you just KNOW one of the "new" housemates will be Simon....

Hoping it's The Twins Harriet Kieran and Chloe (she's a bore) who goes. I would like this Twist a lot more if only it was a Vote to SAVE it would be a lot more fair.

That twist :drama:

Will try air my thoughts later but just have to say this:

Oh god actually thinking about it, you just KNOW one of the "new" housemates will be Simon....

don't even entertain that idea

I am really not happy with how this has all been engineered but i am happy with how the results will play out and the fact we get fresh blood and a spicing up for the series.

Bring on Friday night i guess

Surely they'll have to extend Friday nights show? 4 evictions + house highlights + 4 new housemate arrivals in 90 mins with the 54,382 adverts Channel 5 air during the show?
Absolutely distraught that Sarah is quite clearly going :( I am absolutely baffled by how C5 are even allowed to pick and choose who is up for eviction and then kick almost all of them out on top of it. A double eviction, fair enough - but in my opinion 4 is just too many. If you're going to kick out that many then just put up the whole house. We're going to loose some good characters so early from this (although I can't wait to see the twins and Harriet go)
4 new housemates in on Friday to replace them, Rylan just said. That I can actually get behind, we really need newbies.
Can't we just have 3 new housemates and therefor it'll be like we've only lost one housemate? :(

I agree with all of you in that it's such a good twist, but executed so, SO badly and it really IS like they've made it up as they've gone along. They've realised that these housemates all got on, so decided to stir shit up and throw Jade under the bus for it and created their own drama, but didn't realise they'd all "kiss and make up"/avoid each other to avoid confrontation etc... so they've panicked and gone and got new housemates to replace them with.

I wonder if the housemates will be ex-housemates?

About the episode though, Cristian really takes things to heart, far too much! :\ That's my only major gripe with him because if he'd let that go then he'd actually be an alright housemate! Joel is really dividing my opinion of him lately. I don't know whether I like him or loathe him! He's often hilarious but he's also quite sneaky and bitchy... not sure if it's in the entertaining way or not! :drama:

I appreciated Harriet a lot more in that episode, than I have done for a while! Jade & Nick are as amazing as ever <3 Sarah is great too, really hope she avoids elimination. I like to think she's 2nd in the odds for a reason and want to have faith in the GBP!

There's something really off about Joel imo, I did like him but eh he's falling down my rankings now. He feels quite try hard and annoying to me!

I hope the newbies are ex housemates, but that seems way too good of an idea for C5 to go with :kink: I really can see one being Simon (:puke:) and the others being totally new. I'd love at least one or two underrated ex housemates who were evicted early like say Rebeckah from BB12 or one of the criminal first evictees such as Stephanie BB9, Shabnam BB8 or even Scary Mary from BB6 *.*

       This is the most ridiculous twist of Big Brother UK ever. But I kind of like it? The entertaining people are actually SAFE. Aaron, Eileen and of course, Jade. Couldn't have picked a better week to execute this. Twins gone. Harriet gone. I'll be a little sad if we lose Sarah, but don't really care. Hopefully these 4 newbies are amazing. Wow. Big Brother doesn't give a shit this season.

Right. As has been said it is an actual good twist in theory HOWEVER, they way they've done this is the absolute wrong way to go about it. They really should have done the whole house being up and a vote to save, even if in the house they still went ahead with nominations and the housemates believed they were real. The fact that they've randomly announced this mid-week really proves they've just made this up. The fact that it's evicting FOUR out of six housemates who SHOULD be safe is also ridiculous, completely unfair and goes against any idea that this is a gameshow. This puts the nail in the coffin that it's just a game of LUCK. If you're using a vote to evict to get rid of four housemates out if six, it just means anyone with a current presence, good or bad, is going to be evicted.

I'm incredibly disapointed as this looked like it could have been one of my favourite series to date but it just reeks of the producers going on panic stations. Of course 'Secret and Lies' had the twist of Sam, Sophie and Dan not being safe, but actually being put up for eviction. However, we were TOLD this right of the beginning of the week showing it had been clearly planned out and it also matched the theme of the series: Lies. That's half the reason why 'Secret and Lies' was so good as it felt as though it was all planned from the start.

I am excited for four new housemates but it just makes a ridicule of the show and an intended boost for ratings will now result in an even bigger drop.

Quite uncomfortable viewing there and all the other housemates snickering in the background was rather horrid. I think they did the right thing in removing Aaron as who knows what else he would do in the future.
