I'll always think it's a little unfair that '19' has ended up outselling 'Rockferry'.

Why is that?

I only own these on CD. Parachutes cost me €1. :D

Duffy>>>>>>Adele, I don't care what anyone says.

And people scoff at Back To Bedlam because it's what people do, but it's actually a decent album.

Back to Bedlam might be ok if I could get past You're Beautiful. But I can't.

Duffy is a singing duck.

Why is that?

I can understand where he's coming from in that Rockferry had tons more impact at the time and is more representative of the era it was released, but then again with Adele's juggernaut follow-up boosting the debut I guess fair is fair.

Ooh, I didn't know '19' has managed to overhaul 'Rockferry'. Good news, Duffy was always awful aside from 'Warwick Avenue' and even that is probably worse than all of Adele's singles.
I couldn't stand anything from Adele's first album. Chasing Pavements was unbearable for me to listen to.

'Chasing Pavements' was abominably awful! For a long time it really did put me off her.

Me too. It wasn't until NME TV played Rolling in the Deep that I paid any attention.

'Chasing Pavements' is easily the weakest of the singles from '19' I must admit. 'Hometown Glory' though
'Cold Shoulder' is the one  her best for me, though the '19' singles still rank higher in general for me than the '21' ones. I realise i am probably alone in this.

This 'Chasing Pavements' shade just won't do! -_- My favourite out of the 19 singles, although all are great in their own ways.
Her voice is croaky on Chasing Pavements. And I really dislike the melody.
Some of these albums define periods of time, Adele's dominance, Xtina's chaps and Rihanna's Loud and that red hair etc. It is interesting to look through the list and remember where music was at that time.

The top 3 is what I exactly expected it to be.

Good to see the Marshall Mathers LP still quite high up there B-)

I still find it amazing to see the Scissor Sisters album so high in this list. Such a wonderfully odd homage to alternate lifestyles and I still remain quite proud that the UK took to it in such a big way.
