RIP Jimmy Armford, a true legend of the game. Shame he missed the 1966 World Cup due to injury although he was given an winner's medal 43 years later by FIFA.

Former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller has died at the age of 36.

Miller, who won 21 caps for the Republic of Ireland between 2004 and 2009, had been suffering from cancer.

Aww man that is really sad :( , I remember him playing for Man United briefly and I think he scored in a Champions League match for us if I remember correctly. Only 36 as well, he could have still been playing football now if it wasn't for his illness. This year is turning into a weekly minute of applause for footballers :(

R.I.P Ray Wilkins. When I heard that he had a cardiac arrest I was hoping that he would pull through but cardiac arrests are very hard to survive :(
