Another clear cut elimination, this time for the big ballad on the album, 'Brown Eyes'. Her ballads never tend to enthuse listeners as much as her more upbeat songs and it's showing here as the songs musters up a huge percentage. It remains one, if not the most personal song on the album but not really one that we return to now.

 

"I wrote that song a long time ago and I had never had my heart broken like I had when I wrote that record. That was one of those 3 AM, crying in my apartment at the piano… one foot on the bed and one foot on the floor." :'( ALMOST enough to make me love the song..
