Welcome to round 8 of least fave 1D single and the 7th voted out and making the halfway mark is "One Thing", which now leaves only "WMYB" from the "Up All Night" era standing, ad it did have a pretty good run with 2 rounds of 0 votes, and no more than 1 in the first 5 rounds, it was only the this and the last round that it had bigger votes with 6 in R7 and 9 in the last one. But honestly this is still a great song and upon hearing the album, well I just knew that this had potential single all over it and a definite standout from a great debut album and although they've had much better stuff through the last couple of years, this will always be a firm guilty pleasure of mine. Released in January 2012 as the 3rd single from their first album and released as the 2nd single worldwide and became another success for the boys by reaching #9 in the UK (selling more than "Gotta Be You") and becoming their 2nd top 40 hit in the USA peaking at #39. In other countries it charted best in Australia at #3 while reaching top 10 in Hungary.. Ireland and Scotland and also top 20 peaks in New Zealand and Canada.

While One Thing finished with 9 votes, the joint lowest overall with "LT". "Steal My Girl" managed the second highest with 5 votes, while "Live While We're Young" got 4, both "Kiss You" and "Night Changes" got 2 and finally "Best Song Ever" got 1. "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Story Of My Life" got no votes and are safe for now.
