I actually really like the video! It's tons of fun and I'm loving her hair.

I agree the cameos could have been better, but I'm sure they did what they could.

I agree that it was hyped up to be something different to what we actually got, but I too do like it a lot. I'm with Regina that it follows a similar theme to the Jimmy Falcon performance which is what I was hoping for and I think Madonna achieved what she wanted with the video. Yeah, the cameos were hyped up to be something more so I am slightly disappointed they weren't actually there, but I suppose it shouldn't really be a surprise considering they've all got busy schedules themselves. With a few more watches, of a better quality video, I'll end up really liking it, I'm sure.

Where's twerking Madonna from the instagram clip though? :( Hopefully it comes just after where that video ends.

#Madonna trending. :cheer:

The video is a huge MESS to match the song, but that's sort of what i wanted for it. She's shown she still has the potential to make incredibly moving/powerful videos with 'Ghosttown', this song does not need anything higher than the trash we have got. That sounds like i am slamming it, but i love the song and the video is fun i mean mess/trash in the BEST POSSIBLE ways.

The cameos are ok, even if i expected more. But i don't think they should be the sole reason of judgement for the video (like people slagging off the 'Bad Blood' video because the cameos weren't what they expected even if the rest of the video was tremendous). They are CAMEOS for a reason, to make a quick snap appearance and then leave.

I completely agree with you there, and tbh when I first heard the song I didn't like it at all, now it grown on me a lot :D

I actually really like the video (minus the cameos which look cheap), the song still sucks though. But it did make me like it more, so that's always a plus.

The TV performance was so much better then the video . I couldn't care less for the cameos but wanted Madonna to dance her ass off like on the TV performance.

I didn't realise Kanye had a cameo as well! I'm liking the full video a lot: we see a couple of the cameos again and the video as one big ball of messy fun. Brilliant.

Behind the scenes:

Wow they definitely oversold the cameos in the video lol. Felt like a music video at parts and then a lame Justin Bieber lipsync video at other parts.

omg was that Mario in the video (next to Rita Ora)? I think I recognized his nose.

The more I listen to this song the worse it gets. I can't believe Diplo produced this. I used to love his stuff.

Awful. Gave up after 30 seconds. Has she always had that gap between her two front teeth?

Yeah, the cameos are completely pointless, a marketing tool and nothing more. But the video as a whole is absolutely PERFECT for the song, it's a neon, throw the kitchen sink at it mess, which is exactly what the song is and is so fantastic for those reasons.

THE EXTENDED ZIP OUTRO T H O

Ok re-watching the video in HD on Youtube, it's not that bad but it's still a f***ing mess.
I think the video as a whole is quite good, it's very ... bright if nothing else. But the cameos actively drag it down if you ask me, I'd have preferred to be seeing the video itself rather than half second clips of Beyoncé and the rest mouthing the title. Rita Ora I would keep just because she was actively there and fit in as a result - her presence seemed like an easter egg that was fun to notice. But the rest, no.

What an absolutely dreadful song. I embraced the video for what it was... a whole lot of fun, and I love that aspect of it. However, the cameos were super tacky and did absolutely nothing to elevate it. The major hyping of such minuscule featuring ruined it, really. I agree that Rita was a fine addition as she was actually on the set and obviously Nicki as she has her part on it (but they really could've got her on set too!), but the others really weren't needed. Embracing the madness yes, excessive erratic cameos no.
