Anyone know when Ella Hendersons new single is up for pre order?

July 17th for Little Mix!!! We'll be half way through summer by that point, jeez
Love it or hate it but sales become less and less representative of what people like. The sales are falling down for 2 or so years now. I just checked: last week's sales fell down by 22% compared to the same week in 2012.

Yes, more and more sales #1 are denied the top spot because of streaming, but at the same time it's easier and easier to get that sales #1. Nick Jonas was a great example at that.

OK so put YOUTUBE into account also like in the US! It's not fair. With Youtube, BB and Blank Space would have got the first place, Y only Spotify when not EVERYONE must be there? It makes no sense.

It's not only Spotify, it's all streaming services like Deezer.

The problem with Youtube and video services (or at least how they do it in the US) is that it takes into account viral videos/adverts which use certain songs, such as Harlem Shake. As far as sales were concerned it was never THAT high yet because everyone kept making all those Harlem Shake videos, the song ended up being number one there for a good while. Same for when that long advert about strangers kissing made the song behind it go really high, when no one actually gave a damn about the song (based on how it did on itunes etc). If they did it in a way which only counts music videos and pure audio tracks from the official artist accounts then yeah I would have no problem with it being added seeing as we already have streaming.

Besides, YouTube has made the US chart a MESS in my opinion - you get random songs from viral videos charting top 10 when they're not particularly popular at all. Spotify is rapidly increasing and it's streaming *music*, not videos. I don't really like the way the chart is right now as a lot of fresh music is missing the top 40 but I can't argue with the fact that it should be included as so many people now use it rather than downloading.
Just a heads up the second single from the new Major Lazer album featuring Ellie Goulding is premiered this evening on radio 1 at 7pm. Should be a good listen. And should be released tonight (im sure the album is out in 2 weeks so doubt theyll hold it back.

I meant only OFFICIAL accounts and steams from YT, not a real shit or parody and stuff. It should, it's much bigger than Spotify anyway.. and both should be in the main chart. It's not fair that way, if youre not on Spotify = low peaks for sure.

If its the one with Tarrus Riley off the new album, I've heard that already. Quite laid-back like Lean On but more poppy I think.

Major Lazer & Ellie Goulding? That sounds like an interesting collab, look forward to hearing that one!
I can only imagine how stale and stagnant it would be if they incorporated YouTube, I swear I saw the UK VEVO top 25 in February and 'Stay With Me', 'Chandelier'. 'Rather Be' and 'Happy' were still scaling the weekly top 5?
What's the current VEVO UK top 25 btw?

It hasn't updated since last week, but:

Please no, we really don't need Youtube hits making the charts any staler than they are already. I've quite enjoyed the inclusion of Streaming so far actually, despite it really putting one over on some otherwise high charting tracks.
