Listened to the album twice now, I don't think I've actually listened to a full Britney album before somehow so I wouldn't class myself as a stan even, but despite being a bit disappointed on first listen, it's definitely a grower of an album..

Omg same! You not the first time I didn't really listen to it properly haha

My top 5 I see myself returning to in the next few months/weeks:

1. Make Me

2. Just Luv Me

3. Liar

4. Better

5. Clumsy

Make Me is still absolute MILES ahead of the rest. Probably already entered the top 5 best Britney songs ever

Omg Cool Me Down is so obvious a comparison now I've seen it, good call. La la la la love me down / cool me da da da da da da down! It's like an epiphany now that that's in my head

I can't rank the full album yet but I have a pretty solid top 6:

1. Man on the Moon

2. Invitation

3. Private Show

4. Make Me (I really wish G-Eazy wasn't on this now though!)

5. Liar (this sounds so epic omg)

6. Slumber Party (we ain't gonna sleep tonigh-igh-ight :music:)

I'm actually really liking Hard To Forget Ya as well, I know that's quite unpopular though. The verses  I think DYWCO or Just Luv Me should be the next single though, I really want a beach video for Just Luv Me

This album has just like renewed my love for Britney lol, I haven't been this into a Britney album since Circus. I love that she's still here and doing this after all this time

So I avoided this thread after my first listen because I found the album DECENT but nowhere near one of her best, but after returning to it again, I can say it's better than I thought it was initially. I don't think it comes close still to her actual holy trinity of Blackout, Circus, In the Zone~ (:teresa:) but it ranks above a fair few of her early albums and BJ at least. I'll continue letting it sink in and letting it grow on me ~

BRITNEY AND G-EAZY IGNITE, REMIX IT UP

Britney Spears invariably makes an impression when she takes the stage, and her appearance at the MTV VMA's last night moved the sales and streaming needles for her.

Following her performance of "Make Me" with rapper G-Eazy, the single shot up 25% at iTunes, where it currently sits at #2, while its streams are up 70%+ at Spotify. RCA serviced the new "VMA Eazy Remix" to radio today.

Meanwhile, Brit's freshly released album, Glory, looks to debut between 110-115k (it's now #4 at iTunes).

Hahaha Cremey! The first vine to 'Change Your Mind'! Brilliant :')

She's gonna be on Ellen in the next week or so! (Whenever Ellen returns.) She's advertised for "Premier Week"! :D

Yayyyy more promo. I really think they'll do another song, too for some reason!

Still #2 in today's UK mids, currently on just under 8k sales. Will likely be pushed down by Frank but #3 is looking very safe for her right now! :D
Looks like she'll sell a similar amount (but probably just under) to Britney Jean. I wanted this to outsell it but tbf it's still good considering the times of year the two albums were released.

I am sure it will drop to #3 by the end of the week but still great

Let's pray for longevity this time.

Updated midweeks for the USA

SPS:

*Florida Georgia Line (BMLG) 147-152k

*Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 130-135k

*Britney Spears (RCA) 114-119k

Frank Ocean (Boys Don’t Cry) 73-78k

Pure Sales:

*Florida Georgia Line (BMLG) 132-137K

*Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 127-132k

*Britney Spears (RCA) 92-97k

Frank Ocean (Boys Don’t Cry) 43-47k

So the first conclusion is forget about the #4. She'll be #3 or higher. Still rising as well.

At least she's not going to miss out on a better position due to streams. I seem to recall Madonna's latest missing the top spot due to a few streams. :(
The today show will give her a nice boost as well for that final day! We might snatch #2!

OMFF UP TO #2 (thanx Joe)

Don't get too excited about HDD figures, there can be nasty surprises with them when the figure is 100%. Sometimes the last 30% will give basically nothing for some albums while giving tons for others. Brit will probably be #3 but don't go crazy if she's below Frank!
Tbh I did not see Barbra Streisand coming

She's a sneaky one.
