May 29, 201510 yr I expect with how Garrix/Usher is falling on iTunes they'll probably be #8 or lower on Sunday, but top 10 is all I wanted for that anyway so job done.
May 29, 201510 yr Will Young looks like staying at no1 for sunday but on very poor sales - maybe about 22-23k.
May 29, 201510 yr Will Young looks like staying at no1 for sunday but on very poor sales - maybe about 22-23k. I'm amazed how well it's done with minimal promotion. Hope he does hold on.
May 29, 201510 yr Heroes is still #15 on iTunes and if it's doing ok on Spotify, I can see it getting second week in top 40 which is absolutely magnificent for a ESC winner Edited May 29, 201510 yr by SKOB
May 29, 201510 yr Heroes is still #15 on iTunes and if it's doing ok on Spotify, I can see it getting second week in top 40 which is absolutely magnificent for a ESC winner It might do, as Radio 2 will playing next week.
May 29, 201510 yr I'm amazed how well it's done with minimal promotion. Hope he does hold on. I think people are constantly overestimating the power of promotion. An artist can perform in several tv shows and still not sell 10k on a weekly basis.
May 29, 201510 yr Yay, Will still in the lead! :cheer: Hopefully his amazing performance on the Chris Evans show singing three fantastic songs will keep him there. Brilliant versions of Love Revolution and Thank You and Whitney song. :yahoo:
May 29, 201510 yr 4 Mumford & Sons - Wilder Minds This album is called Wilder Mind. Simples. Ash album is called Kablammo! not Kablommo
May 29, 201510 yr Jack Ü should be top 3 this week then! Didn't think this would out-peak 'Lean On' but it should easily overtake Taylor with the weekend streaming effect. Amazing sales for Jason Derulo too, I can definitely see this being another long running #1 (four weeks I imagine)
May 29, 201510 yr A few titibits. Disclosure feat. Gregory Porter #58 Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih #69 :heehee: I love to see this at #1 next week 69-1, but its not going to happen. :( Avicii Waiting For love #89 And there is only 2 more Eurovision tracks in the top 100 from Belgium and Russia.
May 29, 201510 yr Avicii Waiting For love #89 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png and that's with no sales too! Will be his second stream-only top 100 hit, when will your non-Meghan Trainor faves? I can definitely see this being another long running hit for him, like The Nights was, but will probably not make #1
May 29, 201510 yr Good to see A$AP Rocky climbing into the top 10. Hopefully it can stay there come Sunday. Will probably stick around well next week too with the physicals being added.
May 29, 201510 yr Avicii Waiting For love #89 oh my god yes! this is one of the few occasions where streaming is beneficial :D
May 29, 201510 yr Although not certain, a No.1 album is looking very likely for Mr Will Young  So proud! :w00t: :w00t: :cheer:
May 29, 201510 yr Disclosure feat. Gregory Porter #58 Avicii Waiting For love #89 G'won Disclosure ~ Holding On needs to be a sizable smash :cheer: Avicii coming for that new streaming only peak  :w00t:
May 29, 201510 yr Will Young looks like staying at no1 for sunday but on very poor sales - maybe about 22-23k. Incredible result for him with no hit single and next to no promo - Thought The Vaccines would easily outsell him, Just hope his album doesn't do a 1-7-29-56-75 chart run.
May 29, 201510 yr I think people are constantly overestimating the power of promotion. An artist can perform in several tv shows and still not sell 10k on a weekly basis. But acts like Will really benefit from promotion, Moreso than others - If he can make #1 with no hit single, airplay and minimal TV exposure then I'm sure he could have easily added another 10k+ in sales by getting some/any TV slots.
May 29, 201510 yr 23k isn't THAT poor, by today's standards. We've had number 1 albums on a lot less in recent years.
