Soz if we already knew this but

@ChartUpdate Music Week reverting back to Monday publication date as of July 13. That implies first Friday chart will be on July 10. So GRD launches 3/7.

Edit:

@ChartUpdate Reliably informed first Friday record releases are on 10/7. So I guess chart of that day will cover truncated sales week 5th-9th July.

Great to see A$AP Rocky & co. continuing to make progress with both versions, it's doing alright on streaming too; so fingers crossed it can become a T40 hit.

oh i see Axwell^Ingrosso have released on a Friday also. Not sure why they always release on funny days of the week really (Something New came out on a Thursday I think) but next time they release a single Friday will be the first day of the week.

Not expecting 'On My Way' to be a smash anyway, surprised it's set to be an iTunes top 40 hit actually

Boybands seem to be doing really bad lately; Rixton, Lawson, Stereo Kicks...

YAY is all I can say tbh.

Foxes higher please, such an amazing track  Also loving the stability for black magic, such a great pop tune

I don't know which is worse of waiting for love, five more hours and we all want the same thing. They are all -1/10 horrors and can they all please bomb somehow :puke2:

I think the new Rixton song will be a decent sized hit, should easily go top 10.

Hopefully 'Roads' has a very Lawson-esque drop out the charts over the next few weeks, not a fan.

Pretty Girls needs to pick up :( also if they are smart they would put it on Spotify like now.

Yeah I agree, it should be on Spotify already.

:drama: @ Axwell^Ingrosso going for another nonstandard release again ~ oh well it wasn't likely to make the top40 even with a full sales week behind it :(
Yeah I agree, it should be on Spotify already.

I find it crazy how a lot of labels have not realised the impact streaming has on the charts here now and how long it takes for a song to take off on streaming. By the time pretty girls starts getting any real streaming support it will have probably dropped out the chart. :(

I can see Rixton going to something like #9 and slumping quite quickly with this (not as quick as the last single though, maybe like a 9-23-44-etc run)

I think they will be no1 in the mids and 5 overall!

It seems like half the Muse album is already out - Mercy moving decently up the top 100. Hope they perform that one on Graham Norton tonight. I hear James Bay is performing HBTR on Alan Carr which is a bit pointless!
 38. Adam Lambert - Ghost Town .... Better than I expected considering the lack of support...

He was on Alan Carr's Chatty man which is helping the song. Hope it can do well! Really like it. But has it been released two days early?
