If Newcastle win against West Ham tomorrow then Chelsea will be in the relegation zone

Wouldn't Chelsea still be in the relegation zone with a Newcastle/West Ham draw?

No. If Newcastle draw then they would have 3 points which is one less than Chelsea at the moment, but a win would give them a total of 5 points which would take them above Chelsea.

Benteke's goal was probably better, but Martial's was a journalist's dream. Anyone expecting Benteke to get the attention is living in a fantasy land.
Did none of you hear the commentary from Tyler when Aguero bagged his goal against QPR to throw away the league title for United?

I think the difference in reaction for the Benteke and Martial goal was the impact it had on the match. Martial's goal ended the match and put the outcome out of doubt. Benteke's goal kinda, maybe might've just give Liverpool a little bit of hope to get back into the game. Or it might not. This is quite a fruitless topic to be discussing tbh.

That ease one of the most dramatic goals in premier league history and in the final minute of the season to win the title tho!?

Tyler has spent the last three years masturbsting over Aguero so it was about time he came back on side.

Rodgers has got to be in trouble now you'd think. No passion in that LFC team, no direction, £300mil spent yet seeming to get worse each season. Personally I hope he gets as long as he needs.

How long will Chelsea avoid the relegation zone.....only time will tell.....all I can say is, they (Chelsea) better send a BIG thank you note to both West Ham and Newcastle for avoiding the relegation zone tonight...

Dimitri Payet. What a player! So reminiscent of Tevez or Di Canio he's a big fans favourite already. Moses looks a player too, it's great to see a West Ham team with pace and quality in attack.

Newcastle were fairly poor overall, they shouldn't go down though. However, just buzzing about West Ham right now

Bring on Man City Saturday.

Quite gutted that Newcastle didn't win tonight. The chance to screenshot Chelsea being in the bottom 3 would have been comedy gold

I don't normally want Newcastle to win, but I was prepared to make an exception tonight. Sadly, it wasn't to be :(

You'll be hoping with West Ham that don't follow up their next performance with a defeat.

West Ham will certainly lose to Man City on Saturday. I really hope I will be wrong about this though but Manchester City are just too consistent at the moment, in fact over the past few years they have been the standard bearer in the Premier League. If you finish above Manchester City then you'll definitely win the title, there was a time that Man Utd were like that as well until Fergie left.

I do expect Man City to beat West Ham on Saturday although if anyone is a West Ham fan you'll be hoping for a draw.

And your point is? If there's such a huge gravitational pull towards Old Trafford then the circumstance or nature of the goal should surely not come into any sort of relevance? Fact of the matter is there isn't and a few Liverpool fans were just narked cause Tyler enjoyed the goal.

That Luke Shaw injury looks sickening. Such a shame given his start to the season. He was the only player on the pitch in the first half v Liverpool who had remotely anything about him.

Tyler has spent the last three years masturbsting over Aguero so it was about time he came back on side.

Course he's in trouble, the man is setting us up to keep his job. Thing is, if we didn't get spanked by West Ham then things wouldn't be too bad with the start we've had. But naturally it starts the pressure, as if we slip up against the 'easier' teams now he's going to get the boot, no doubt about it. We've spent loads of money but our net spend is about £10m.

Luke Shaw being out until like January/February is a HUGE loss for United.

I'd be surprised if he plays again this season. Judging by how clean the break was, I'd expect him to be out for 9-12 months.

Has Eva Carneiro appeared on the bench recently? she seems to have disappeared since Mourinho left her out of Chelsea's second match.

Like we'd certainly lose to Arsenal and certainly lose to Liverpool... ;)

Yeah i've just seen that it's both Bones broken. His season is over which is a complete shame as it started so well.

I was 3.5 weeks in a cast then 3 weeks in a moon boot so was walking normally again by Christmas from a shattered Fibula and an ankle break. Adding the Tibia to that tho would massively extend that just because it's such a bigger bone.

If he's lucky he might be starting to walk by Christmas. The fact that he's 20 really helps here

As I said later on in the post I really hope that I will be wrong but I can only see a home win for City.

That is so sad for Luke Shaw, he has been so good for United so far and he will be immensely missed.
