Well the nightmare weekend has been coming for weeks and this is it.

Van Gaal just needs more time :D

Goes without saying that David Moyes would have been sacked by now...

This is hilarious though. United fans are 'famed' for their patience with managers. Cannot see that lasting much longer!

And with that Javier Hernandez has scored his 17th goal in 14 matches for Bayer Leverkusen as said by Final Score presenter Jason Mohammad.

Fair play to Norwich though.

EDIT: Martial has pulled one back.

Well Mourinho is free now.

Problem is, I cannot understand why Man Utd fans would want him. I thought they wanted attacking football!!

Yeah Mourinho would be even worse for us should they fire Van Gaal.

Don't think you'll sack him yet. I think you'd be stupid to sack him for Mourinho. Admittedly I think he would get you Top 4, but not the attacking football that the fans want.

Absolutely bizarre season.

Such a poor performance from Manchester United, I didn't feel in the mood to watch the game before it started but I forced myself to watch it and ended up wasting 2 hours on that shit. To make matters worse the stream that I was watching the match on kept freezing and I ended up missing the two last goals that were scored in the match.

Other results went against us as well with Leicester winning, Crystal Palace going level on points with us and Tottenham leapfrogging us in the table. I now have a bad feeling that Arsenal will win on Monday to rub salt in the wound but I suppose it's too late to change my prediction for that match in the predictions thread.

Another result and like that and Van Gaal will be gone I reckon. Their record vs Norwich had been brilliant up to now. No excuses.

I don't think he would get us top 4, in fact I can't see anything changing whoever is in charge, so many players underperforming this year and no sign of any improvement. Would require a world class signing in Jan (and I'm talking Neymar/Lewandowski standard) and obviously that won't happen.

Elsewhere Leicester just keep on going, hopefully Soy Adrian doesn't have too many shoes to have to eat

LVG will get until the end of the season, surely?

I hope. :D

Depends doesn't it. It's funny, cos with the criticism he's started making United a bit more attacking, but because the team has opened up more the team has started conceding goals. I think it's a difficult situation for the board. But expect they will stick with him (and hope!).

Mourinho is everything that Man Utd is not about - so funny if he went there

Nobody could have predicted at the beginning of the season that Leicester would be top on Christmas Day but that's exactly what will happen now after their victory against Everton.

Or that Mourinho would be sacked.

Hey at least we remember how to find the back of the net. That's become a rarity worth celebrating.

We started the year so bloody well. It was great to watch us and now it's just shite after shite.

I can't see us getting Jose "park the bus" Mourinho no matter how much he allegedly wants it :puke: I can see LVG lasting the season. We aren't doing horrific just yet because of our strong start. I think it all depends on a decent manager being available for us to switch to.

Although Fergie as a caretaker for the rest of the year would be fine with me...

Guardiola leaving Bayern. Ancelotti to replace him.

So here starts the merry-go-round for if he will go to City, Utd or Chelsea

I'd be certain it'll be Man City, although it will be a bit strange seeing them sack Pellegrini even if they win the league!

Seems all you need to be these days is aggressive and you can win games.

Feel like I'm watching a Championship game.

Poop.

Fair play Watford, first goal shouldn't have stood, but better team won.

Complete shithouse performance from Liverpool today. Leicester are going to pummel us.
