Out of the opening weekend of the season. Which team would you say played the best? I would say probably Man City, West Ham United.

Leicester also displayed some very good qualities, albeit against a clearly very leaky defense.

It's absolutely ridiculous, and rightfully Jose is getting all the bad press he deserves.

 

Jose being Jose. He's one of the most ridiculous sycophant characters I've ever seen in football. Except now he's allegedly 'top of the pile' most of his behaviour comes off as petulant and picky.

I think Eva Carneiro is really undervalued and unappreciated at Chelsea, since Andre Villas-Boas appointed her to work with the first team she has done a good job. A lot of Chelsea's players probably would have crumbled over the past few seasons if it wasn't for her quick witted reactions to their injuries.

 

She does hard work and doesn't get any credit or recognition for it.

I'm sure another club would welcome the hard work that Eva Carneiro does if she was to leave Chelsea.

 

 

In other news-

 

Jamie Vardy has been given a substantial fine and ordered to undergo diversity awareness training by the club following the claims in in The Sun on Sunday about him making a racial slur in a casino.

 

The right punishment in my opinion after disgraceful behaviour.

Again we're playing just OK. Januzaj's goal was a beaut but Villa have started this half far too strongly. We need to take control of this match before we end up throwing three points away.

 

Looking forward to Bastian coming on again in the next 10-20 mins.

Another 3 points in the bag and back to the top of the table for Manchester United. It wasn't pretty but we got the job done and that's all that really matters in the end.

Still think Van Gaal is a timebomb. Fed De Gea and Januzai to the wolves, can't be too long until he goes crazy again.

I can't see Man United winning the league. Probably finish 3rd behind Man City and Chelsea, I think. A lack of goals. Surely another striker is needed?

 

 

Yeah FAR too early to throw about such statements. We've scraped past 2 teams who also weren't playing very good football. Although 2 goals from 3 total shots on target is wonderful efficiency :D

I think I might put a bet on to scud them :). Hate Manu their fans are so self satisfied. I think they'll be right up there esp if they keep de Gea!
