^^ I was going to hold out for Amazon but £22.99 was at the lower end of my price expectations with vinyl prices atm and thought I’d support HMV for once over Amazon.

 

If Amazon come in at around the £20 mark and if it’s not stupidly limited then it could pick up some decent casual sales :cheer:

I don’t understand the price variations for vinyl ha ha….maybe because it’s black vinyl….guess it’s not heavyweight vinyl either?

I think it depends on how much labels think they can rinse from fans and blame it all on vinyl demand :lol: I guess Parlophone know even though Kylie has a fanbase that collects heavily the album will only have limited appeal and a small window to sell so they’ve price it sensibly.

It's a good price, it's not a release material wise I'm overly excited with but equally I want the vinyl version.

I think Vinyl should be £19.99 for 1 vinyl album.

Yes I expect it’s priced a bit lower for these reasons….I noticed George Michael’s older was released on double heavyweight vinyl for £24-25 but the coloured options were higher. Weirdly it states ‘180gsm’ which I assume is a typo as that usually relates to paper thickness.

Townsend have marked it as a ‘limited edition’ - hope decent numbers of it are available.

^^ Maybe it sold out so quickly on Townsend as they offer global shipping (HMV only deliver to the UK) so guessing international fans snapped up the copies?

Urgh at this potentially looking like being limited to 2.5k or something based on how quickly places are selling out.

134 left now - people are obviously heading to HMV now that it looks like this is going to be a limited release, if it is the case then Parlophone have once again missed an opportunity to sell a Christmas album…. at Christmas. Appreciate it will have limited appeal but if it’s selling out most places already it seems as though it’s too limited.

4th best seller in pre order chart at HMV, impressive since it was only added a few days ago.

Kylie Christmas vinyl will sell much lower in its initial release but will continue a flow of sales through Christmas but not enough to take a place on the chart.
