KC has sold 1,335 copies on LP this week and 1,388 over all according to the sayhey facebook page.

 

So 53 sales which I assume is mostly streams.

Well that should be enough for top 100 even it doesnt sell much else.

Hopefully at least another 150 sales from streams to come…who knows.

Hopefully we get another update today or tomorrow.

So frustrating that team Kylie haven’t promoted this on social media - I get Kylie might not have been involved and signed it off etc., but in fairness to Parlophone they haven’t tampered with the original and just done a re-press, it benefits Kylie if it sells and does well and could also lead to some curiosity streams from people that didn’t realise she has a Christmas album available.

It definitely is frustrating and annoying especially when it doesn't take a lot to plug on social media pages.

I guess it didn’t require a plug because they sold out the allocation on her store/ TM stores.

They never listed in on the Kylie store - and it’s still available from HMV, Amazon, and most independent stores.

 

I’m not bothered either way, just seems a missed opportunity not to give a social media nod to its release.

No, it’s had a general release, most places seem to be stocking it.

Ya i thought it was a general release aswell, when these type of releases are done the whole point is they want them to sell so its a missed opportunity not to plug it in some way as if the demand is there they could print more. Overall its not hugely important as these are just bonus sales and all it does is bring the album one step closer to reaching 200k.

I would have loved it to have made the top 75 but im happy to see it back in the top 100, the number 59 sold 1925 so im assuming Kylie was around 1400 or 1500.

Can’t imagine 26 on sales requires much sales so must be picking up a decent amount of streams already.

Yes it’s streams will be reasonable and will continue to grow, apart from SB, It’s the Most Wonderful…, At Christmas, and Santa Claus is Coming are picking up on streams generally so that’s going to help improve the average for the down weighting.

Hopefully the streaming can keep climbing and help the album sell a few thousand by the end of the year.
