I think I know why House Every Weekend has underperformed. It's probably because when David Bowie announced his Five Years collection, most of his fans (who probably pre-ordered House Every Weekend believing it was by him) went on his Facebook/Twitter/Wikipedia article, and obviously found no mention of House Every Weekend anywhere, and subsequently realised their mistake.

Or because it's possibly the worst "song" of the year :kink: well, the worst released so far because of course NOTHING can beat that Whip Nae Nae mess or whatever it's called coming to haunt us soon.

^^yeah, I'm sure Dandy, it's not only about you were stressed out so they had to compensate. I'm even surprised why it's not in negative sales tbh.
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

What I was trying to say that some people, like Dandystar, pre-ordered House Every Weekend believing it was by David Bowie. After all, there is only one different letter in their names.

Trap Queen disagrees with you :cheer:

Nominating songs for the Best of the Year are we? ;)

To be fair, I ordered House Every Weekend thinking it was a new Bowie single. I complained to iTunes and they removed my purchase and removed 1000 other people's purchases also to compensate for the stress it caused me.

Really?! I think the title is fairly un-Bowie, and surely you would have previewed the track before ordering. Tsk.

Anyway it was both popular on Shazam and Spotify pre-release so there is absolutely no reason to believe that the confusion with Bowie was the cause for its pre-order success.

Worried for Foxes. I don't know much about knowing whether a song will do well based on pre-orders, but is this the first time it's been in the top 1500? It really deserves to smash

I wouldn't be worried yet. She's only had one play (today) since being on the Radio 1's C list and it was enough to get her into the top 1,500, so it's promising. Once she get's onto the B-list and hopefully A list it'll start doing something.

Even if Fifth Harmony do catch up with Years & Years, I don't think they have quite enough time to take the #1, unless 'Shine' gets really underwhelming streams which is unlikely.

I think David Zowie is underperforming because it hasn't been on a Now album yet so there isn't anyone who bought it on a Now album to buy it again.

the same can be said of Shine and Worth It though

Capital obviously aren't supporting it enough either.

Baby Love  40 at last. Would be nice if this did what 'Cool Kids' did and debut low but climb next week. Probably won't happen though. The chorus to this is joyous and deserves to be bigger than it currently is showing

How did it climb so much in the last couple of hours?!

Radio 1 play maybe. I'd like to think it's 59p but it probably isn't lol.

Shine just increased its lead over Worth It quite a bit. And the same goes for David Zowie, who is a bit more noticably ahead of Fifth Harmony now, whereas they were more almost equal earlier.

I'm An Albatraoz disagrees with you.

I wish they can win with this 5.5K lead over them :(
