Lol I loved it when it first came out despite a measly one week appearance in ny chart at 29 (my chart was more to the actual charts back then as opposed to now). It was quite a big deal on YouTube back then so I'm surprised it wasn't entered yet.

I can imagine it being something lexC would be all over :P

So.... we can reveal we came 10th :o :cheer: whether you loved it or *hated it* (as it was quite a diverse and controversial pick) Caramelldensen/dancing certainly lived up to its hype & awarded us our second top 10 this year *.*

 

There's still no beating Crim3s tho (rightfully) but I'm chuffed. Thanks to everyone and anyone who gave us points even those to mentioned us in the commiserations :)

 

Whilst we don't know a hundred percent know what to send this month although I have looked at something the winning nation Quintessa *might* like so I might consider that but it's probably not going to get us an 3rd top 10 although I could be suprised I guess.

 

A big congratulations to Quintessa tho, catchy song & the huge grower & now wonderful Pariah on coming 2nd <3 little did I just discover quite late that Steven Wilson is behind the group Porcupine Tree which I know very well from my Uni days~

Dorothy's Wild Nights. Hope to have fans for this as it stood out to me right away. They've supported Halestorm on their last tour and have been touted as the coolest new rock group to emerge. Dorothy Martin is specifically categorised as having one of most powerful rock singers being compared to Joan Jett

Seems like our rock entries don't seem to do enough to qualify *cries into a pillow*............ to be honest I believe we *could* have qualified if it weren't for an extendingly big batch of semis (maybe not too). Kinda sucks to DNQ with this ngl but I suppose the video cost us unfortunately (despite barely any negative comments about the nutella eating on you tube, they were more along the lines of *I can sit and watch her eat that, it's worth it when she's so f***ing hot* :') :') :') ) anyways to the surprise of many I didn't even really pick it for the video at all so I'm gutted it's failed to get more on board as a *SONG*.

 

This was in fact the same position - 23rd, that KEYS&CAGES came which also was a rock track as you know! So that's a unusual coincidence we've finished 23rd twice with separate rock tracks :o

 

Thanks to our top 12voter Jacob who's under the nation Aelandor.. which is not a surprise at all & funnily enough returning the favour from the 12 we awarded Old Man by them last month ;o & maybe this month too.. although I'm not saying anything just yet!!

 

 

Let's just say for the 99th contest I'm sending a bit of a rave tune from 2000 which also happens to be in my top 10 EOY right now :o ooh intrigue~

I would hope the video didn't actually put people off voting for it :lol: had no bearing on my opinion of the actual song at least (which I would have liked to see qualify, aw ~) although with it being so close it is an interesting hypothetical... hmm.

Currently deciding on two songs being my final 2 entries of the year and what to send first, they are both yet again old songs though the first from 2000 & the other 1996. One rave & one new age track so consider us attempting to go all out for these last two important contests *.*

 

The decision will be made just in time for the confirmations over the weekend of course~

 

I'm ready that's all I can say & im very happy with these two discoveries!
