Haven't been buying a lot of vinyl so far this year, but this is what I have got so far:

Yard Act - The Overload (green vinyl)

Tame Impala - Innerspeaker

Japan - Quiet Life

So it’s RSD tomorrow. Most of what I wanted has had production issues and has been pushed back, won’t be any morning queues for me. The Blondie double 7” is about £25 which feels ridiculous so I won’t be getting that now. I may pop in later to see if they have a copy of Suede
What I really wanted was pushed so I’ll have a browse later of the online offers but I need to work out who I can bribe to go searching for me on the June date
I bought Mariah’s #1s yesterday but didn’t get to the “local” (30 minutes drive away) record shop until gone 4pm and Fragma, which is what I really wanted, had already gone.
It was insanely tough but I managed to track down a copy of Northern Star at a wee record shop in Denmark. Cost a bit more than if I would have grabbed it in Germany (for a start, VAT is 25% instead of 19%) but I don’t really care. It’s already on eBay at like 90€. It’s such an iconic album really. Im Hype to blast I Turn To You
It’s weird that things aren’t online in the UK yet. I do get why they may want to wait until Friday though, I guess it encourages more people to try visit a shop.

Nice! That was on my list too but it was long gone sadly.

Everything I wanted is now up for at least three times the price on eBay/Discogs. I know it's easy money as the demand is there so it's hardly surprising that people buy them to sell on, but it's still tedious for the fans that queued up in good faith behind the scalpers and missed out at getting it for what are the already inflated RSD prices.

I feel like everything I wanted will just be instantly sold out on Friday though, they don’t keep any stock for exclusively online do they?

I thought I’d got Mariah’s #1’s online from a Portuguese record store but they emailed saying they can’t confirm stock until Tuesday so guess I’m on the hunt for that again :( I got Sara Bareilles ‘Little Voice’ on eBay for a good price. I’ve given up on ‘the lakes’ but I was more fussed about the other 2 tbh.

I suspect a lot will instantly sell out on Friday, yes. I'm willing to gamble on mine but I can see why others wouldn't. They definitely don't hold back stock for online, it's always just whatever doesn't sell in store.

Was this a US only release, nobody I asked here seemed to know of its existence. I'd like it too.

I think US and Europe, I got it from a Spanish record store

The danish store has the status as on order with the supplier so I managed this evening to get a copy of Northern Star from Assai Records in Scotland.

@Rich - if Denmark comes through you can have my UK copy for list price + whatever Royal Mail charge to ship it.

My copy of Agnes‘ superb new album is currently in Neumünster so I might even get that tomorrow 😁

Thanks Phil, I actually managed to get a copy of Northern Star this evening as well!

I also tracked down the Fragma record, which I was desperate for. God bless Ventnor Exchange on the Isle of Wight, the land of no Fragma fans apparently.

Completely forgot to pre-order the Agnes album and now it's out of stock everywhere.

Interesting, thanks, I might have to resort to paying over the odds for that one on Discogs.

Agnes „Magic Still Exists“ did in fact arrive today. Much faster than my Sugababes pre-order which wasn’t even dispatched until after release

It’s a nice package and the vinyl is this great Orange! I’m happy with it. Have been giving it a spin this afternoon

Awesome!!

I debated about Fragma, Assai had it, but I passed in the end.

I nipped in around 11 today and got Prince’s The Gold Experience and the two Beth Orton albums. Haven’t opened it yet but the packaging on Prince doesn’t look great, although cheaper than I anticipated at £24.99
Glad you got one! I’m still a little bit disappointed that it isn’t a nice gatefold but the music is still great ^_^
