i CANNOT believe the drama in this episode - almost couldn't take it !!!!

Also thinking about it. Eliminating Coco was great tactically (even though she was probably the weakest in both tasks) as this is someone who won so many lip sync's in her season. So had she won a challenge would be in a very strong position to eliminate a queen.

I am once again living for Alyssa :wub: my second favourite ever queen after Bianca. Also really loving Tatianna, I don't remember her much and now she's all I can think about.

LOVED LOVED LOVED roxxxy andrews entrance look and she seems like a lot more fun, she's smiling all of the time and making jokes and rly enjoying herself we'll see if it last

Michelle Visage is out for blood this season! I was literally cringing in pain watching her tearing the bottom girls apart. But I am honestly loving this cast, and I think this season definitely has huge potential to be the absolute best season of Drag Race!

I've only just got round the watching this so it has KILLED me staying out of this thread!

Really liking Roxxxy & Tatiana too (HER MONOLOGUE THOUGH :o) and I'm happy with the rest of the queens. Coco was my least favourite so I'm glad she's gone first.. (kinda?)

 

Adore being dragged by Michelle was perhaps a little unkind but I think kinda necessary? Michelle is never one to skate around it so her being harsh wasn't a shock..

 

Adore's reaction seemed more about the performance/song and Michelle really only came for the look. To be honest, I agree with her about it.

She may have her own style and sense of who she is after the show, but this is all stars where they chose the best of the best to come back & compete..

It's about elevating their unique style & bringing their A-game to win because when you're up against the pageant queens who ooze glamour & vitality, Adore looks like trash.

Just because she can wear T-Shirts in venues she books, doesn't mean she can rock up wearing that on RuPaul's catwalk!

I would get reading Adore's look if it was a look glamorous task. But it was a talent contest and her look fit her talent. So I don't get why Michelle was so harsh for no reason other than trying to be controversial.

I forgot to mention in the above post that I looooove Adore, so I'm not being shady. I just agree with Michelle.

 

The most baffling thing about the episode, for me, was Detox's sail through. Like, what was that raggedy first look about?!

Hitting the drums & covering herself in paint was fun to see but talent-wise it was nowhere near what Adore brought!

 

Edit: also, my favourite part from the whole episode is when Tatianna was doing her spoken word piece and mentioned about him 'getting thick' and Ru gasped and said 'OOH girl!' :lol:

So we all know who is here. But is there anyone your sad isn't there. I for one would love to have seen Joslyn Fox return (over one of the Season 5 queens), also either Milk or Max would have been nice to see again.

It's pretty much an open secret that Adore walks before Snatch Game takes place. The Dutch OutTV also appeared to spoil that Katya/Alaska are the top 2 and it's believed that the one who gets eliminated on Snatch Game won it in her season which means that Ginger/Tati are in trouble if they're bottom three (although if Tati does go she's rumoured to be brought back later in the season)

 

I am not massively happy with the elimination. I appreciate she wasn't great at Snatch but I do think she looked hot on the runway. Overall I would argue that Roxxxy was the weakest this week. Funny that last weeks top two were this week's bottom two.

 

I've seen people quite outraged that a) Detox was bottom three and b) Alyssa didn't win. I do understand the Detox thing as she looked fierce, but by that token Alyssa didn't deserve to be in the top - her runway outfit for me was HIDEOUS. She did perform well in Snatch though, I'm glad of the redemption.

 

People have been saying Ginger should have been there over Detox, but I would say Phi Phi would have been next in line. For me Ginger looked FLAWLESS on the runway. We didn't see much of her during the Snatch Game.. actually throughout the episode as a whole :(

 

Top 2, hard to argue with for me. Alaska was phenomenal and looked great too, and Katya was so funny.

 

With Adore gone (I am not as fussed as I expected :/) I would like to see Detox go next, I think.

I don't watch the show (yet), but shouldn't the title of the thread be RuPaul's Drag Race, isn't that the official name?

I am so annoyed with the elimination. Roxxy should have been going home. I was expecting Ginger in the bottom 3, mainly as she wasn't really visible in the episode.

 

Sadly I think this will mean a return of Rolaskatox.

Detox was so lucky to have that runway look! Her snatch game was as meh as last time around tbh. I think Roxxy should have gone too overall, I think the standard and how close they all are is evident from the fact last week's top 2 were the ones in danger this time!

Alyssa should have been in the top 2, she was hilarious in Snatch Game. I'd love them to actually make the full Snatch Game's available.

I'm really warming to Alyssa this season, she was the one to acknowledge Adore too.

 

Roxxxy should have gone but, like Tatianna predicted, Rolaskatox were gonna stick together. I think it actually sets it up perfectly for Tatianna to come in and exact her revenge, she was so pissed off when she was given the lipstick by Alaska.

 

One thing that's really annoying me, which didn't before so I don't know whether she did it previously, is the totally stoned-out way that Alaska talks!!

I thought that about Alaska :lol: It wasn't until Alaska 5000 was on the Snatch Game card thing and Ru said "Alaska 5000" it reminded me of a robot and she does sound really robotic! I know that is hr stage name but I just didn't click with that before, perhaps she notices the way she speaks like that and a robot sounding name reflects that, or maybe she started speaking more like that because of the stage name :lol:

 

 

Also Katya's Bjork was HYSTERICAL. That along with Alyssa's Joan Crawford and Alaska's Mae West were all incredible, a clear cut top 3 and I'd have taken any of them top 2, Alyssa was unlucky to miss out.

One of my favorite snatch games ever. I was dying at some of those. Alyssa was so funny but I guess Ru acknowledged her not really doing what Katya and Alaska did, which is reacting on the spot and not relying on never ending catchphrases.

 

So gutted Katya didn't win but Alaska really killed that lipsync. Don't know why Katya shied herself from hugging the stage with her vagina the entire time with all the splits and acrobatic stuff.

 

Also gutted Tatianna went home. I felt she had so much more to show whereas I already know what I was getting from Roxxxy. And her act on this show is SO different from someone she portrayed in her season, it's crazy. Impossible maybe. So I'm not too convinced.
