23. Low | Thankful | Avg.6.944

Highest Rates: 10 (Heezus Froot, Riser), 9/9.5 (Liam, Adamaloud, Lukuzz, Insomnio), 8/8.5 (gooddelta, Regina, Jonjo, American Oxygen, Kylie Jackson)

Lowest Rates: 3 (Mullo), 4 (Mack)

At #23 is "Low" released in August 2003 as the 3rd single from her debut album "Thankful", and this is where Kelly explores the rock sound which would later define her career. Songwriter Jimmy Harry originally offered the demo version to Britney and Kylie, before offering it to Kelly and he was a concerned considering that they were gonna turn it into a pop ballad type song, but in the end things turned out okay. Although Kelly didn't want this to be a single and other choices were "Just Missed The Train", "The Trouble With Love Is" and "You Though Wrong". But this ended up getting released and it didn't fare as well as the previous 2 singles by peaking at #58 on the US Top 100. But did prove to be more successful elsewhere by reaching #2 in Canada and #11 in Australia. In the UK it was released as a double a-side with "TTWLI" and peaked at #35.

22. All I Ever Wanted | All I Ever Wanted | Avg.7.105

Highest Rates: 10 (Nick F1, Insomnio), 9 (Frank, Liam, Regina, Ultraviolence1989, Jonjo, barbaric dan, Adamaloud, lukuzz), 8/8.5 (Rob S, gooddelta, J*hnkm, Cameron, gavindeejay, Sean, Kylie Jackson)

3/3.5 (Mr Aly, Fgiboy2511), 5 (American Oxygen, Mack, Heezus Froot)

At #22 is the title track from Kelly's 4th album "All I Ever Wanted", which was originally recorded by rock band Aranda in 2008. Kelly released her version in March 2010 as the 4th and final single from that album as a digital download for the USA only where it managed to peak at #96 on the US Top 100, with not much promo or no proper music video to support it, but it did fare better on the Adult Top 40 by peaking at #11 and hitting top 40 on the Mainstream charts. To be honest I was expecting this to be a lot lower, but considering all the high rates it got with 2 10's, 8 9's and 7 8's, there weren't that many low rates either.

21. A Moment Like This | Thankful | 7.315

Highest Rates: 10 (Acidburn, American Oxygen, Kellyann), 9.5/9 (Ultraviolence1989, barbaric dan, Scherz, Insomnio, bartsimpson, Riser), 8.5/8 (Liam, gooddelta, Cameron, Sean, Kylie Jackson)

Lowest Rates: 4 (Jark), 5 (Mullo, Mack, Fgiboy2511, Gavindeejay, Heezus Froot)

Just outside the official top 20 is Kelly's debut and the one that started it all "A Moment Like This", if this was based on points and not averages, then this would have been at #20, but this had the lower average because the next one had one less rate. Which is a shame as I do love this song, but here in the UK Leona Lewis's version is probably the best known. Kelly's version was released in September 2002 after winning the first ever American Idol and put her on the path to stardom, released alongside "Before Your Love" as a double a-side, this became her first ever #1 hit, this truly overshadowed the other song, but in the end both ended up on her debut album. Also Leona Lewis released her version in 2006 and topped the UK charts with it.

Results So Far

21. A Moment Like This = 7.315

22. All I Ever Wanted = 7.105

23. Low = 6.944

24. Don't You Wanna Stay (Ft Jason Aldean) = 6.848

25. Don't Waste Your Time = 6.728

26. One Minute = 6.708

27. Before Your Love = 6.661

28. Because Of You (Ft Reba McEntire) = 6.265

29. The Trouble With Love Is = 6.175

30. Tie It Up = 6.114

31. Don't Rush (Ft Vince Gill) = 5.515

'All I Ever Wanted' is so good! I wish it'd have been pushed as a single completely. However, they should have tried 'If I Can't Have You' after 'Already Gone'! :(

In fact that era should've gone...

01. 'My Life Would Suck Without You'

02. 'Already Gone'

03. 'Don't Let Me Stop You'

04. 'If I Can't Have You'/'All I Ever Wanted'

05. 'Cry'

No shade towards IDNHU, it just felt like a weaker version of songs by other artists that were already popular-ish. Didn't set her apart from P!nk/Katy Perry at all. Similar to releasing 'Invincible' actually. A good song in it's own right, but as a single so soon into the campaign? I was never really convinced. :(

Don't Let Me Stop You was Kelly at her finest on that album. God knows how they bypassed it.

Agreed completely. Easily in my top 10 tracks from her.

I was gutted she didn't release it :(

20. Wrapped In Red | Wrapped In Red | Avg.7.5

Highest Rates: 10 (Cameron, gavindeejay, Sean), 9/9.5 (Liam, American Oxygen, Lukuzz), 8/8.5 (Rob S, Frank, Acidburn, Ultraviolence1989, Jonjo, Ryan, barbaric dan, Heezus Froot, Scherz, Insomnio, Jark, Liamshikari27, Riser)

Lowest Rates: 2 (Martyn), 4 (Mack)

At #20 is the first of Kelly's Christmas songs to feature in this countdown, "Wrapped In Red" released in November 2014 as the 2nd and final single from the X-Mas album of the same name, which came about after being approached by her record company RCA about doing it after the release of her Greatest Hits album the previous year. This and the lead single were along with 3 other songs all original recordings for this album, and all met with positive reception. Upon release it was released to the component charts only and not the official top 100, it did very well on the US Adult Contemporay charts by reaching #2 as well as reaching top 5 on the US Holiday digital charts.

19. People Like Us | Greatest Hits - Chapter One | Avg.7.513

Highest Rates: 10 (Jonjo, Cameron. gavindeejay, Heezus Froot, Nick F1), 9.5 (Frank, Mullo, Lukuzz), 8.5/8 (Rob S, Liam, Regina, Mr Aly, J*hnkm, Aled, Ryan, barbaric dan, AdamAloud, Sean, Kellyann, Scherz, Insomnio, Martyyn)

Lowest Rates: 4 (Simon, Vibe, Fgiboy2511, Kylie Jackson, Liamshikari27), 5.5/5 (Ultraviolence1989, Riser)

At #19 is "People Like Us" released in April 2013 as the 3rd and final from her "Greatest Hits - Chapter One" album. The song did okay worldwide by reaching top 40 peaks in New Zealand, Canada and Slovakia, while also charting in Australia and USA. In the UK it became her first song to miss the top 100, due to lack of airplay or promo. The song was originally intended to be included on her 6th studio album, but when it was decided that it was gonna be a greatest hits album, this was included as one of 3 new songs all of which were released as singles. Now this did do very well with several high rates with 5 10's, 3 9's, 14 8's.

Don't You Wanna Stay and People Like Us should be a little higher, neither is essential Kelly but both are very good songs.

I never liked 'People Like Us', to me it sounded too much like an attempt to recreate 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' and is certainly the inferior song out of those two.

'Don't Rush' and 'Don't You Wanna Stay' are both lovely duets, disappointing result for those. Too bad for 'Low' and 'The Trouble With Love Is' as well, but I fully expected disappointment in the bottom ten given how strong Kelly's discography is.

18. Invincible | Piece By Piece | Avg.7.565

Highest Rates: 11 (American Oxygen), 10 (Frank, Lukuzz, Insomnio, Jark), 9 (Liam, gooddelta, J*hnkm, Cameron, barbaric dan, Liamshikari27)

Lowest Rates: 1.5 (Martyn), 4 (Regina)

At #18 is Kelly's latest single "Invincible" released in May 2015 and taken as the 2nd single from her 7th album "Piece By Piece". The song was also written by Sia who seems to be everywhere, but didn't quite work her magic on this as it's failed on chart almost anywhere, apart from a few USA charts, and honestly seems like an odd choice for a single, given that there were so many stronger tracks on the album, despite scoring a successful comeback single "Heartbeat Song" a few months back, this totally failed, and stands as her least successful single to date. But on this rate it did get some decent scores with a 11, 4 10, 6 9's and 10 8's.

17. Heartbeat Song | Piece By Piece | Avg.7.615

Highest Rates: 11 (Scherz), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, barbaric dan, Adamaloud), 9/9.5 (gooddelta, Acidburn, Jonjo, Cameron, Mack, Ryan, Insomnio, Liamshikari27)

Lowest Rates: -1/0 (Joe, Fgiboy2511, Heezus Froot), 6/6.5 (Vibe, Nick F1, Martyn)

At #18 is "Heartbeat Song" which was released in January this year and was the lead single from her latest album "Piece By Piece", also meaning that we say goodbye to the last of that era's singles. This almost ended up below "Invincible", but last minute scoring saw this rise above it and settled into this place. To be honest I weren't keen on this song at first, but it has grown on me throughout the last couple of months, but I still find it her weakest lead single, and nowhere near as strong as a lot of her past stuff, but glad it made the top 20 here though. It also had a very polarizing effect on this rate despite several high scores, there were still multiple -1's and 0's. This song was written during her pregnancy and did very well worldwide by scoring top 5 peaks in Netherlands and South Africa, as well as top 10 in UK, South Korea, Austria, top 20 in Germany and Sweden, then top 40 in New Zealand, USA, Canada, Hungary, Ireland, Swiss, Australia and Spain.

16. Walk Away | Breakaway | Avg.7.618

Highest Rates: 11 (Mullo, Riser), 10 (Rob S, Frank, Nick F1), 9.5/9 (Liam, gooddelta, Acidburn, Ultraviolence1989, Jonjo, Aled, Adamaloud, Sean, Kylie Jackson, Bartsimpson)

Lowest Rates: -1 (Cameron), 2 (Fgiboy2511)

At #16 we have the first of the massive and amazing "Breakaway" era singles to drop "Walk Away" released in January 2006 as the 5th and final single from her 2nd album, it didn't quite match the success of the album's previous singles but did became a success worldwide by reaching top 10 in Ireland and top 20 in the USA, and also top 40 peaks in UK, Australia, New Zealand, Austria and Germany. This almost ended up at the bottom end of the top 20, but the 2 11's pushed it right up to this position, and out of 38 rates, only 7 of them were low, so this had a mainly positive reception here, despite being the most forgotten gem from her massive "Breakaway" era. This is still a very solid pop gem and definitely stands as a highlight in her brilliant discography.

Aw I think 'Invincible' is a lot stronger than 'Heartbeat Song' which massively stands out as a weaker entry in her discography.

Would've liked to see 'People Like Us' higher, it's one of my very favourites from her and I think I may actually prefer it to 'Stronger'! 'Since U Been Gone' ftw.

15. Dark Side | Stronger | Avg.7.736

Highest Rates: 10 (Joe, Heezus Froot, Lukuzz, Insomnio), 9.5/9 (Rob S, Liam, Cameron, Ryan, Kylie Jackson), 8/8.5 (Frank, Regina, Ultraviolence1989, J*hnkm, American Oxygen, Mullo, Simon, Adamaloud, Nick F1, Riser, Scherz)

Lowest Rates: 3 (Fgiboy2511), 4 (Vibe)

At #15 is "Dark Side" released in June 2012 as the 3rd and final single from her 5th album "Stronger" and it's cited as one of her favourite tracks from the album and chose it as a single herself, a demo version of it leaked online in 2011, then a re-recorded version surfaced as a promo a week before the album's release. It didn't do as well as the album's previous 2 singles, but became a moderate success by reaching top 20 in Netherlands and top 40 in Canada and UK. In the USA it just missed the top 40 by peaking at #42 becoming her 17th chart entry on the US Top 100.

YES

Very glad Heartbeat Song is low-ish, I love it still because it's Kelly but it's her weakest single since Before Your Love for me I'm afraid.

I can't at Dark Side and Wrapped In Red being out. Also, People Like Us' elimination has killed me. RIP me.
