On the verge of going with Egyptian trance. Doesn't sound very Egyptian and it'll flop but it's either that or some wailing old lady.

Wailing old lady please! jk, Egyptian trance sounds interesting too somehow.

I think I have chosen my song and it's not the dance one. It literally seems like I've gone through all the Maltese artists in existence and there's some interesting and some uninteresting stuff. Found some nice ambient stuff, might play that later just for my own pleasure, but for this contest I think I will send a different song.

There's some Maltese death metal band called Hemlock with the following song titles:

Choking on Vaginal Discharge

Molested Cervical Tissue

Stench of Rotting Innards

Lovely.

!!!

QueenofVagina could never @ those song titles. Send one of them for the lolz if you have nothing better

I have found a fabulous band from Croatia. The song is going to really stand out among (let's face it, the following IS going to happen...) dozens of Eurovision entrants' vaginal discharge album tracks/other hits.

It's JUST under 3 minutes long too. YAY

Please don't tell me it has to be under three minutes :(

Right I've added a list of confirmed nations to the first post and sent out reminders to those who chose a country but have yet to confirm. If you're not on the list nor had a PM speak now! Hoping to get the voting up on Sunday.
I've decided to immerse myself in the depths of the Uzbek music scene on YT tonight. I'm an hour in and haven't yet lasted a full song. :')
I'm really starting to LOVE the Maltese song I sent  Thinking of changing my name to Malttias.

I have now confirmed~ Good lord that was hard, but I have finally found a wonderful piece of traditional Cypriot folk music - coming 4 last :cheer:

(though I'm now literally immersed in traditional music from Cyprus )

Confirmed my entry. It was hard finding a decent Czech song that wasn't Dvorak/classical in general. :/

Haha, that's pretty typical of a lot of extreme metal bands. Highlights include (and these are actual song titles): "I Sent Concentration Camp Footage To America's Funniest Home Videos", "Necropedophile", "Incestuous Dynasty of Worms", "Eating Corpse to Remove Evidence", "Kill Your Mother, Rape Your Dog", "Zombie Graveyard Rape Bonanza", and "Once The Scorpion Was Inserted Into The Anus..."

I have confirmed what I can only describe as Uzbekistan's answer to Alesha Dixon circa 2008. Naturally I'm feeling pretty confident. B-)

I've spend so much time listening to the Sugababes the past two days I'm wondering if Siobhan counts as Japanese seeing as she got lost in a toilet there for a number of years.

If a British dance vocalist can count as a southern Asian entry then I can defo get away with Run For Cover.

18 points from Hushkanukia.

Sent my song in, not expecting any kind of decent position though.
I can now guarantee I will come last as I can't see anyone other than Ethan liking my replacement entry (got vetoed for the featured artist being from a different country for what I actually wanted to send)
All I can find is ethnic folk music or slutjams that only LexC could send -_-
