August 24, 201510 yr Jess will be no1 in the albums - probably about 50-60k sales. Singles, lookslike either marvin gaye or fight song but don't really like either.
August 24, 201510 yr Will Bars & Melody fans even know what vinyl is? They'll probably think they're getting Bars & Melody personalised flooring
August 24, 201510 yr Will be interesting to see where Bars & Melody end up in the albums - They have 19 album signings between Friday and Thursday so capturing the whole sales week plus 2 x CDs, Tape, £5 SMS download & Vinyl plus bundles with concert tickets and a special edition fan album that includes the names of fans that pre-ordered. Can see it having a 4-77 chart run  Some if this stuff is quite cool tbh, I would totally by a USB shaped like Beyoncé with her album on it in a heartbeat!
August 24, 201510 yr Some if this stuff is quite cool tbh, I would totally by a USB shaped like Beyoncé with her album on it in a heartbeat! Agree with this. I have no interest in Bars and Moody or whatever they're called, but the USB and cassette look cool. I'd totally buy a cassette off some of my favourite albums.
August 24, 201510 yr I'll quite like having chart info on a Thursday when we do get it, as the new chart unfolds next day with hardly any changes, prior to this we had to wait 2 days (weekend) before the chart reveal and throw the odd new track in the lower region of the top 40, now we don't get that. I'm beginning to like the new chart change to be honest, the only drawback is just remembering compiling the new thread topics for the new chart week. I'm the complete opposite, I really don't like that we get one on Thursday as it totally takes away any of the unpredictability of any close chart battles for me. If we'd had a few days with no information last week, I think we'd have been less certain of a Jess #1 but as it was, we already knew.

August 24, 201510 yr Depending of course on any missing data, that feels like a good lead for Rachel right now, I imagine her streaming will increase more over the week also.
August 24, 201510 yr Ella Eyre. :( Shame my favourite single so far is looking to perform the worst (out of the ones that have receive significant promo)
August 24, 201510 yr Author Looking at the singles chart update, I do have a feeling some data is missing, you notice it more towards the lower end of the top 40.
August 24, 201510 yr Yay Rachel Platten and her easy fight to #1  Would love for Ain't Nobody to get to #2 but I don't think it will. Does anyone have sales difference between #2 and #3? Edited August 24, 201510 yr by 'SPADZ' tho :/

August 24, 201510 yr slay em Rachel and Jess in the albums *.* lmao at Ella Eyre's floppagé, the song is a much weaker 'Together' so I am not at all surprised that it could miss the top 40.
August 24, 201510 yr I can't see Good Times missing the top 40 at all, I mean Maroon 5 managed to hold up and they didn't get as high as Ella has on iTunes so far. The weekend streaming effect has been and gone so Ella won't lose out because of that either.
August 24, 201510 yr Given their fan base would be restricted to under 16s (at best), I think Bars and Melody are doing pretty well. But, that is an interesting choice of formats to release an album onto - I suppose if it introduces more people to the record formats of old it's probably a good thing but I don't see why though, maybe their management are hoping that some of the 85 million+ who've seen their Britain's Got Talent audition will make the effort to buy the album. Jess Glynne could do well with her album, although her single dropped more than I thought.
