Cheryl getting that GA promotion. Surprised Rita hasn't lumped her Sigma collab onto one of her girls!

I can't see how Return Of The Mack is a good choice for Kiera? I get that they want to show some personality but I hope it doesn't end up looking novelty.

Bye Keira :cheer:

I would be shocked by Anton doing All About That Bass, but there is so many... Jazz infused or soul versions out there. See Postmodern Jukebox for example. Whilst lyrically it will be weird, him singing it could be like a "shock" out there kind of choice that could work. (Think Johnny Robinson - That Ole Devil Called Love).

Seann, YASSS!!!! The Sia version of California Dreamin' will be EPIC for him to sing, good lord I can't wait.

4th impact... Hmm... Could fall flat or be epic. I hope EPIC after deffo being performance of the week last week

Full list (bit different to the above):

Kiera: Return Of The Mack

Lauren: Hold Back The River (THIS is the sort of stuff she should be singing <3)

Louisa: Billie Jean

Monica: Crazy In Love

Che: You Can't Hurry Love

Mason: Teardrops

Seann: California Dreamin'

4th Impact: Sound Of The Underground / Boom Clap

Reggie & Bollie: What Makes You Beautiful / Cheerleader

Anton: All About That Bass / Bang Bang

Max: Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Israel K version :puke:) / What A Wonderful World

Louisa will have a total moment with Billie Jean if it's the same arrangemet as David Cook did on Idol in 2008. I also love the choices for Lauren, Monica, 4I and Seann. R&B doing Cheerleader is like a double hell but at least they can't ruin it since it's horrific enough already. Kiera's is a really odd choice even to be changed up... And they can't really afford to get her wrong this week.

I can't cope with Anton doing Bang Bang

As Gary Barlow said in 2011 "I am SICK TO DEATH of all of these medleys"

Ché has picked a brilliant song there, looking forward to him singing that. Mason's is just bizarre to say the least. Monica - Crazy In Love? Errr... no thank you. Louisa's Billie Jean will be like Austin Drage's in Series 5. Lauren wellllllll that could go either way really I just can't tell!

4th Impact: Sound Of The Underground / Boom Clap

Omg, Sound of the Underground! Will be making an extra effort to catch this weekends show just to see this.

While they tease it EVERY year, it would be great if we actually got a themed week dedicated to Girls Aloud, or even just a general girl band theme week. Imagine the potential Spice Girls/Girls Aloud mashups :kink: .

Kiera: Return Of The Mack

She's definitley returning home this weekend with this odd song choice.

Just listened to some of the clips on iTunes:

OK, Louisa isn't doing the David Cook version! She's doing it with a Can't Feel My Face sort of production

Kiera is doing some sort of tropical house version of Return Of Mack, it sounds the same then there's a drop

Monica's CIL sounds quite similar to the 50 Shades version.

4I just sounds like the original... And they ARE doing Clapping Song, not Boom Clap. Lauren's isn't that different either, sounds a bit more ballad-y/soulful.

Che is doing a ballad-y version of You Can't Hurry Up.

Seann's is basically the Sia vesion, sounds amazing!

Anton's sounds utterly painful..... And that's being kind. It's not really a change up either, it's going to be terrible.

Rumour has it the top 5 in voting last week was:

01 Anton (23%) :manson:

02 Louisa (13%)

03 Seann (12%)

04 4th Impact

05 Monica

Not sure I believe that - no way would Che not be top 5 and Seann that high? I mean I know Rachel Adedeji went from 1st to bottom 2 in 2009 but still I can't see it...

Apparently some sources are saying this week is Movie week!

Listen or Let It Go for 4th Impact please! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Oh god what are the chances of getting a song during Movie week that hasn't been performed before? I'd wager zero.
They way they have been treating Max he'll be doing a reggae version of 'My heart will go on'.

This weeks song choices for Movie Week so far.

4th Impact- 'Work It Out' (Beyoncé)

Lauren Murray- 'Licence to Kill'. (Gladys Knight)

Anton Stephens- 'I Have Nothing' (Whitney Houston)

Max Stone- Purple Rain or Secret Garden (Prince or Bruce Springsteen)

Reggie & Bollie- Who Let The Dogs Out (JOKE ACT FORCED ALERT)

Mason Noise- Theme from Men In Black?

I love I Have Nothing but Anton will murder it to say the least. It is overused and that really annoys me, not just anyone can sing Whitney. Really you shouldn't touch Whitney unless you can really sing, like Leona, Alexandra etc., certainly I don't think a male should tackle Whitney because it just never works - even the likes of Andrea who had a really good voice! Not feeling any of those really, already cringing and rolling my eyes at R&B :/ :/ :/
Eek. Inspired choice of Beyonce song for 4th Impact though (no matter how horrendous the original is :puke: ). Mason's song choice is destined to put him in the bottom 3. Which is a shame. I love the song, but I can't see how you're gonna make it current?

I like the original but it's more of the same for 4I. It will be another sassy, OTT performance, they could have done with a ballad this week as it's getting predictable.
