Posted September 21, 20159 yr Just because I find weird things interesting, which cinema chain do you frequent the most? Personally I have a Cineworld unlimited card so it's pretty much just them, I have two nearby so it's a pretty great deal, my very local one doesn't show films for very long though (showing just five movies in total tomorrow) which is a bit sad. I have to use Odeon a fair amount though when I visit my family, plus there is an Odeon in Milton Keynes nearby. Never been to a Vue because there isn't one nearby and independent cinemas (cough Bluewater cough) are a rip off. Edited September 21, 20159 yr by Josh.
September 21, 20159 yr YAY another member of the Unlimited club. The others should've tried to get into that business. Back up north Cineworld was the local in my town, now I have a couple nearby but I tend to venture further out (Wembley can be rather limited in choice at times :arrr:). Don't recall trying an Odeon before but been to Vue a few times and Empire on one occasion.
September 21, 20159 yr Vue literally every time as the 5 nearest cinemas to me are all vue's :( Wish there was a cineworld near me as the unlimited card is so good. Vue is also the worst, so overpriced :(
September 21, 20159 yr Exclusively Cineworld. It's the only cinema in town (bar a 1 screen cinema that shows low key releases only, I believe) and even if Odeon was still open or the Vue that has been long rumoured does surface, you can't get better value than the Unlimited card so I wouldn't change!
September 21, 20159 yr We have 4 cinemas currently in the Nottingham City Center. Showcase Cinemas (where I work, so free tickets wahoo), Cineworld, Savoy (my best mate is the manager there - free screenings wahoo) & Broadway (which shows all the indie flicks which the multiplexes don't show etc..). I vary between Showcase (reclining seats now too *.*) and Savoy, obviously. Cineworld has an IMAX, but it's not a very good one.
September 21, 20159 yr Cineworld. I would never pay normal cinema tickets after having an Unlimited Card.
September 21, 20159 yr Cineworld as 2 are nearish to me (plus I have that Meerkat thing & a friend with an Unlimited Card so free films with that). Whilst I was at Uni there were no Cineworlds nearby so I alternated between Vue & Odeon.
September 21, 20159 yr I think I've maybe been to a Vue cinema once  There is only one cinema in Perth and that's a tiny Cineworld one, but I do prefer Cineworld, idk why I just think they are a lot cosier and have a better atmosphere than the Odeon. In saying that, the Odeon I'd go to when I lived at home wasn't of a great standard, I'm not sure if that's a generalised thing across all Odeon's or not, I have seen some nice newer ones though. I like how the seats are tiered in Cineworld, the one in Glasgow is my preferred Cinema, it's got so many floors, it's just very cool  Odeon is cheaper though  Edited September 21, 20159 yr by ℓindsey ♫

September 21, 20159 yr The Odeon and Cineworld near me have both closed so it's got to be Vue by default. For the nearest cinema to be about 8 miles away to a city like Chester is highly annoying. The Odeon in the town centre used to be ideal. Edited September 21, 20159 yr by RobinJuanPersie
September 27, 20159 yr Vue is my only cinema :( It's terrible too. Cheap Tuesdays are okay I suppose though. The best cinema I have been to is the AMC in Manchester .
September 28, 20159 yr I check when going to book online which screen its in to where the seats are, as a disabled cinema goer they can be in stupid places..wanted to see scorch trials at weekend cineworld seats where front row so would have crooked neck so went to odeon where was at back row level with screen so perfect... Saw San Andreas in 3d at cineworld worse possible seats ever for 3d right right hand side of screen so the 3d effect didnt really come across, everyone else in the cinema was sat further up back of screen in the middle, so now i check... but voted odeon just for fact they cheaper £4 compared to about £10 cineworld
September 28, 20159 yr My nearest is Vue but it's way overpriced, thankfully there's an Odeon which is almost just as near which is pretty much fine for what it is (hasn't changed AT ALL in like ten years tho!). I wish I had a Cineworld nearby, but the nearest is a fair train ride away, would love the Unlimited card :'(
