Random..., it could easily go back to #1 after x factor winner, or more likely is she'll knock herself off.

That would be funny to see someone knock themselves off the top in the UK. The last person to do that was Elvis in 2005

What it's all this "coming for weaves" all about? And when/where did it start?

I don't know why this made me chuckle but I did. Thanks for that.

Bieber would have come very close to had not Adele not released this week. Only KDA would have interrupted his 2 hits...

Pharrell came pretty close in 2013 as well with "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines", but "La La La" interrupted for a week.

Same with Dizzee Rascal in 2010, "Dirtee Disco" and "Shout" (his two worst #1s eww) nearly back-to-back but had David Guetta "Gettin' Over You" sandwiched in between for a week.

What a pity Adele's new album isn't out the same week as One D and Bieber - she would totally humiliate them, grinding them into the dust!
The title implies that there is a Tuesday update but I can't see it. Am I being stupid?

No. I don't see Tuesday's update either

That must be an error. It's too early for a tue update yet
206k now according to Mint Royale

She now has to sell 35k a day for the next 3 days to outdo Band Aid, if their is still streaming data missing I'd say she could manage it, maybe. Either way, 300k is looking very possible!

She's not stopping... She will be so close to 300K. Without promo, anything. Just her name.

I'd say she will easily clear the 300k mark !

Crazy to think Cheryl did 292k back in 2009 too, her hype was pretty similar :o

With X Factor performance... without streaming and sales were HUGE back then... The hype around Adele is unbelievable, I've never seen nothing similar to this and I'm more than 15 years following charts.

The hype around Adele completely eclipses the hype around Cheryl back then.

Mind boggling numbers, should clear 300k at this rate.

In terms of sales, the #1 singles in 2009 sold pretty similarly to the ones in 2015, after the addition of streaming. From June-October 2009, the average #1 single sold 71,593 copies, whilst in 2015, the average #1 in the same period sold 73,797 units (streaming makes up 18,290 of those units), so the singles market is pretty much unchanged in terms of 'units', even if sales were 'huge' back then.

OMG @ Adele and her MOR ballad selling so much. My timeline is full of her, and #REALMUSIC #talentalwayswins hashtags
