October 26, 201510 yr Could have they not asked Ellie Goulding? The ongoing presence of Jess Glynne is really heartbreaking. Well Ellie has already done it. :kink:
October 26, 201510 yr Yesterday's news Martin, she's done 165K up until midnight Sunday. (Source: MintRoyale - see above)
October 26, 201510 yr Yesterday's news Martin, she's done 165K up until midnight Sunday. (Source: MintRoyale - see above) So it's real? 165K from 3 days? so 47K for yesterday with Spotify? so around 40K sales? She's at the same level on Itunes since yesterday so another 40K today or so? It's 200K for 4 days.. she really could do 280K... We are all underestimate her over and over again.
October 26, 201510 yr Oh Justin, why oh why didn't you release last week  What's more surprising that in in his era he is much bigger single wise than 1D in the UK (US for sure)... Let's see how week he can sell his album against them in the 13rd.
October 26, 201510 yr What's more surprising that in in his era he is much bigger single wise than 1D in the UK (US for sure)... Let's see how week he can sell his album against them in the 13rd. It's true actually. His change in sound seems to be appealing to the mass market. He seems to enter as high as 1D, but isn't as front-loaded, as causal listeners seem to take to him a bit more. I still think 1D will dominate quite largely when it comes to album week though.
October 26, 201510 yr Based on that, Adele will have higher opening sales than the X Factor winner :o
October 26, 201510 yr I wonder if Adele could actually pass 1 million downloads in the UK? I really hope she promotes 'Hello' as I'm sure a promotional slot on X Factor / Strictly & Graham Norton could ensure 'Hello' is at least on 700,000 download sales by the end of the year.
October 26, 201510 yr Based on today's sales, Adele is already the fastest selling single of the year. By the end of the week she should have outsold Ben Haenow's 218,239 and Mark Ronson's 186,655 of 2014. So she'll be the second fastest selling single of 2013/14/15 behind Band Aid's 312,928. She'd need to sell 37k every day until Thursday to overtake that. Edited October 26, 201510 yr by Joecula
October 26, 201510 yr Wow! Would be amazing if she could pass 300k this week, which I think is possible given how high her streams are/how stable her lead on iTunes is.
October 26, 201510 yr I think 300k might just be a little optimistic. She'll probably start to tail off slightly during the rest of the week. 250k looks like being easily achievable though!

Could be near to that not sure if it will surpass it unless it remains this stable all week. Edited October 26, 201510 yr by Dobweb
October 26, 201510 yr Not forgetting Wake Me Up which did 262k I think? Could be near to that not sure if it will surpass it unless it remains this stable all week. It could just about surpass it, since there is bound to be a bit of streaming data from Apple missing still. Edited October 26, 201510 yr by Joecula
October 26, 201510 yr It could just about surpass it, since there is bound to be a bit of streaming data from Apple missing still. There must be Spotify numbers missing too, given that she already cleared 550k streams on Friday. I reckon today's figure must be around 7 or 8k short on sales from missing Spotify/Apple Music. October 26, 201510 yr Huge amounts of streaming data missing by the looks of things. Adele only on 5% streams, so her number will be even more impressive.
October 26, 201510 yr I see Joseph is reading the thread, have you bagsied the update? :P Oops, forgot to post saying so! :heehee: 5SOS on 35k already, incredible! :o So glad they're looking at an EASY #1 album with this! Great sales for Adele and Justin of course but that goes without saying at this stage.
