November 4, 20159 yr Kinda sad to see Sam Bailey is now appearing in the Dick Whittington Panto in Aylesbury... AND showing off her ''mummy tummy'' on one of those hideous cheap women's TV mags
November 4, 20159 yr Cee-Lo? I mean, ratings are dropping but they could at least try and have A-list acts. At least Fleur isn't a rapist. Says who? Neither was Jimmy Savile until 50 years after the event.
November 4, 20159 yr Maybe because he wrote TWO of the biggest songs of the century? and is also a talented producer who will still be around in ten years time unlike Fleur East who will be in a touring version of The Bodyguard. Yes, because they book X Factor guests based on 10 years' time rather than right now...
November 4, 20159 yr I'd say its very unlikely. They have limited slots are far too many people to fill in. I think Leona could have snuck in if her album was released now but the moment has passed her album has flopped... and i say this being a Leona fan BTW. She recently performed for Simon at an awards event, so I think things are looking good between the two. Fingers crossed she gets an X-factor slot. I don't think there's far too many people to fill in. They can have 3-4 people perform a week (1 saturday, 2 sunday - possibly 3 sunday if they skip the group performance). So I would think there's room for her to get a slot. I can see Leona being made to perform something from Christmas, With Love. I think that's very unlikely. Leona has changed labels and I don't believe her new label has the rights to it. Would love if the X-factor contestants performed "One More Sleep" in a group performance nearer to christmas time. :D
November 4, 20159 yr Yes, because they book X Factor guests based on 10 years' time rather than right now... So on that basis they'd refuse Madonna & Mariah Carey?
November 5, 20159 yr So on that basis they'd refuse Madonna & Mariah Carey? LOL stop being obtuse. Madonna and Mariah Carey are legendary acts (as is Paul McCartney; Celine Dion, etc). Cee-Lo Green is not. He ihad a few huge hits a few years ago but now is a nobody who is persona nongrata in most US media due to the fact he is a rapist. Hardly comparable.
November 5, 20159 yr Leona really needs to be on the finals before Christmas again and wheel out her version of 'Ave Maria'. That will get the Christmas album selling (and remind people exactly why she won the show and why she's considered one of the best vocalists)! But yeah. I'm disappointed they've got Cee-Lo. :\ Like, I didn't even realise he had new music out? Couldn't they have got someone like Jason Derulo to perform 'Cheyenne' or something, instead? Or even help boost the career of a newer talent (like ooh I dunno. Just off the top of my head and as an example, Tinashe :kink: ). I guess they wanted a quiet week to help Fleur in any way possible!
November 5, 20159 yr Cee-Lo is great, he has had huge success and his recent song Robin Willias was amazing! I am looking for him!
November 5, 20159 yr So Fleur and Cee Lo seem to be confirmed for the Sunday, but is no one performing on Saturday?
November 5, 20159 yr Author No one on the Saturday this week I think, it was just last week. I imagine that if 1D are on next week (which they are likely to be given their new album is out) it may be a Sat/Sun split again but we'll have to wait and see!
November 5, 20159 yr Saturday's show will be fun then. 2 acts less and no guest performer yet only a 10 minute shorter show.
November 5, 20159 yr LOL stop being obtuse. Exactly. The fact that Cee-Lo is even said to be in the same league as Madonna and Mariah is crazy  I'm not disappointed at him getting a slot, I'm not a fan but good for him managing such a good slot with such little exposure in the UK right now. Saying that he'd be more in demand than Fleur because of past glories is ridiculous.

November 5, 20159 yr I think Cee Lo Green is partially booked to perform because of this 'lifetime achievement' award he's receiving at the MOBOs tonight. I guess because he's being perceived as a big deal at the MOBOs the X Factor have decided to give him a shot as well. I thought Cee Lo's Lady Killer album was quite impressive but at the same time the comments he made on rape were pretty much reprehensible. Though saying that as far as I know he never did what he claimed was okay, but maybe I'm wrong on that.
November 6, 20159 yr I know anyone can edit Wikipedia, but... Week 2 (7/8 November) Theme: Reinvention[citation needed]Group performance: TBA Musical guests: Fleur East ("Sax")[49] and Nick Jonas[citation needed] Nick would be a much better guest.
November 7, 20159 yr Okay. No Cee Lo Green. Nick Jonas is performing his top 50 smash 'Levels' http://celebmix.co.uk/nick-jonas-confirmed...tor-performance
November 7, 20159 yr Oh YES! Hopefully 'Levels' can finally go top 40. I doubt it, but it'd be nice to see it get a boost!
November 7, 20159 yr  Very pleased! If I had my own way I'd like him to perform Levels & Jealous, like Little Mix did last week with Love Me Like You & Black Magic.
