We are thrilled to announce that Adele will be performing on The X Factor Results Show this Sunday (13th December)!

In a celebration of the best of British music, Adele joins Coldplay and One Direction on the bill, and is set to sing Hello from her record-breaking No.1 smash hit album 25, which was released last month.

Actually quite clever for Simon to flog so many of his own acts when he knows that people will be tuning in for Adele who may not normally watch and know about last years contestants etc.

He didn't need to wedge Leona in seeing as she is no longer signed to his record label. She is the biggest XF winner ever so I assume it is only natural for her to perform on the show.

But in terms of the show, she's still regarded as one of the best/biggest stars from the show... she's still respected by so many people, it's just people aren't aware she has new material! If you were to go to the average Joe and ask them when Leona's last single was, I'd guess they'd say 'Run'! And that's even with 'Echo' being a success!

The only thing of Adele's performance I'd like to see benefit is her single returning to #1 at Xmas

Yawn to most of the performers aside from Adele who will undoubtedly be incredible *.*

It would have been so much nicer if we didn't have the same acts come back each year for the final... shame they couldn't get Carly or Y&Y on instead -_-

If they wanted Carly or Y&Y on the show, they could get them. Carly's album flopped harder than Leona's in the UK even though the former had the exposure of a top 5 single.

 

At the end of the day, the X Factor is a franchise so of course they are going to use the platform to promote their artists.

So surely you want to showcase the biggest artists on the X factor final and that isn't Leona by a long way and hasn't been for a fairly long time.

Little Mix just confirmed they are performing with Fleur East.

 

And I have a feeling that's all they're doing.

Ben Haenow has also been confirmed "with a surprise"

 

Is it too much to hope that he will perform with Kylie? I've seen a few rumours about her being on. Wishful thinking I guess.
