November 7, 201510 yr I love that album top four, great results. Nice for Little Mix and consistent sales for Elvis, probably, I'm not surprised at The Beatles' 1 re-issue selling well because the most comprehensive set is beautiful, one of the best re-issues I have ever seen -- that's probably the version that most people are buying. Horrible position for Ellie as expected and the thing is she'll probably fall even lower by Friday. OOPS.
November 7, 201510 yr Didn't think The Beatles 1 re-issue would be so high as it's sold over 2 million already. Can't see many wanting a second copy. Well there is always the younger generation who get introduced to their music from older generations. Plus the CD people already have may no longer work :o
November 7, 201510 yr The signs werent good for Ellie with that awful single and awful recent live promo performances, especially XFactor which should have been a major boost. I'm not sure what major promo she has left in the UK, probably done and focusing on the US. Was OMM not a top 10 hit though?!
November 7, 201510 yr If sales are crap, hopefully Anastacia could sneak a week in the top 10 albums like she did last time. Edited November 7, 201510 yr by T Boy
November 7, 201510 yr If sales are crap, hopefully Anastacia could sneak a week in the top 10 albums like she did last time. Especially since Erasure did it this week with no promo.
November 7, 201510 yr Ellie Goulding will be consistent seller, unlike Little Mix though - so I doubt she's too fussed about missing #1. That said, I did think it would at least peak at #2. Kinda' hoping the Elvis album can climb back a place so that none of the new entries make it.

November 7, 201510 yr Ellie usually repackages her albums with an extra uber-pop disc to get them to #1/decent total sales status in the end anyway. I guess seeing as this is already an uber-pop album she can tack on a bonus uber-indie disc some time next year, rename the album Dark Delirium and voila, another huge seller!
November 7, 201510 yr Excellent for Little Mix. Definitely our best girl group right now. Not that there's much competition.
November 7, 201510 yr I called Elvis staying at #1 for a second week yesterday, thinking that's pretty likely based on Mint Royale's tweet! Maybe even an Elvis/The Beatles top 2 ~
November 7, 201510 yr Remember that The Beatles feature in a 2 hour programme on ITV Wednesday 8pm. Should give them a last minute boost.
November 7, 201510 yr Author With that Beatles show, I think it'll be Elvis/Beatles top 2 with Ellie and Little Mix at 3 and 4. Unless Little Mix have a huge lead, it'll down to 4 for them by Friday. Crazy that Ellie had that extended album performance during X Factor and Graham Norton this weekend and Little Mix have had nothing.

November 7, 201510 yr Author Little Mix also had an XF performance did they not? :P Yeah but not during their release week. Ellie performed last week, too. But also had some sponsored extended advert performance just now.
November 8, 201510 yr Especially since Erasure did it this week with no promo. There was heavy TV advertising for Erasure's album
November 8, 201510 yr Shame that MintRoyale didn't give us any sales information, only teasing that there's not much in it!
