I can't remember the last time I was as hyped about an act as Reggie & Bollie. Are they the best singers? No, they're not, obviously. But I'm not watching The Voice so I don't have to support the best voice (I will if there's nobody I care about, hence why I supported Andrea last year) but in a show of your standard Mariah shouters, they're SUCH a breath of fresh air. I'm there dancing in my seat to every performance, the same this week and I'm excited every week to see them perform because I know I'm going to get something fun.

Just finished watching and I'd rank last nights performances:

09.5 Reggie N Bollie

09.5 Louisa Johnson (HATED the staging so it didn't connect with me as a whole as stupid as that may sound. She did nail it though and didn't shout her way through it, more control is always more pleasant on the ear)

------

07.0 4th Impact (They were really weak solo this week, much too shouty to distract from the fact they struggle. Enjoyable performance wise, great together, but I'm finding it hard to stay excited by them)

07.0 Che Chesterman (My least favourite performance of his contrary to what the judges said. I don't mind him performing older songs if he projects them into something that feels like a current John Lewis sound like he did with 'You Can't Hurry Love' but this did feel dated. Loved his vocals again but wasn't wow'd overall)

06.5 Lauren Murray (Already made my voice heard on how much I detest that song, which I can't lie, did affect this performance. The verses are a total non event and she struggled, when it got to the belted bits, she nailed 75% of it, struggled with some. Her worst yet and I just want her to go, lovely girl, but so run of the mill)

06.0 Mason Noise (I actually QUITE enjoyed it, his falsetto bits were weak as piss but I quite liked the whole vibe and thought it suited him. Much better than the last two weeks but still only a 6 because that previous comment isn't really saying much. Glad he's gone, his attitude is offputting too)

05.0 Anton Stephans (That was quite an uncomfortable judging session sheeesh! I entirely agree with the judges on his lack of passion in the actual song. He's really lost it as he's come into the live shows, or at least since Week 2, it's just not working. I didn't care for him anyway but his voice was undeniable but now I'm just not really that impressed by any of it)

I can't decide which 2 of 4th Impact, Anton and Lauren will be in the bottom 2 tonight! If they'd done a normal double elimination I'd have said 4th Impact and Anton, but I do think that the way they did that bottom 3 last night (even though they said it wasn't the actual bottom 3) will motivate more votes for the pair of them and therefore I think Lauren could get dragged into it.

Pretty sure Louisa, Ché and Reggie N' Bollie will be safe - and while I think Reggie N' Bollie are fun, I think they are nearing their elimination point and I'm glad as everyone overrating them so much has put me off them in the last couple of weks unfortunately.

Did you know Olly Murs was performing? :kink:
I'm praying for a shock bottom 2 like Ché x Lauren and see one of these overrated acts leaving the competition.
What an appalling mess of a perf though. At least they had the good sense to keep R&B out of most of it.

Lauren, Louisa and 4I carried that

LOL at Olly messing up Nathan's singles name

Yeah! Nathan Sykes
I have to say that Reggie & Bollie were genuinely my favourite act last night. The others are all too try hard and desperate.
(ps I hope for Olly's sake that he's miming later as he has no chance at getting the words right)

A lot of my friends know him personally (although I doubt he remembers them )

Not a fan of the song but he's a very strong live performer!

I think Anton and 4th Impact could be the bottom 2 acts, but after last night, they could be safe, I'm thinking Lauren could be in the bottom 2 along with Reggie & Boille
what a rubbish song! talk about cliched, how did this non-person get such a prime slot on the x factor?!
