I agree. Jade's song was lush! a definite undeserved DNQ if there ever was one.

I don't think I've been so happy at a DNQ's result since Three Trapped Tigers did remarkably well. I expected much worse for a tech/house song which was also fairly mellow - not the most accessible combination. It's really good in its own right but ultimately I chose it because Sub Club have started a label and it's their first release.

 

Next time I will enter something that can't be ignored~

So Running Scared didn't make the finals :(

 

Apparently I can do no right, I entered this magnificent track I spent AGES finding, it's pop, and it's catchy, and is perfect for this contest. You have no idea how much it hurts, when it's been months and months trying to get back in the Top 10. And even now, after trying my hardest to find something i thought was perfect for them they still say no :( :(

 

Honest to god i am fucking sick to death of the bullshit these BJSC voters pull on people like me. That's a fucking good song, ok?! It's a fucking good song, and there's no reason why you people need to do this to me once again

 

And that's it, I AM DONE with this contest*, I have better things to do with my life and my time. All you BJSC voters go shove it up your arse because i really don't fucking care anymore

Rather pleased with 27 points for 'Everybody's Son', especially with that as-yet-unknown 12 pointer :o, as I knew it'd have very niche appeal. I think the song's absolutely beautiful and the lyrics really resonate with me, so it's great to see others appreciate it too. <3

 

As for my own votes, a lot of (generally expected) casualties, but I'm just relieved my 12 made it through as that was quite a bit ahead of the pack. :D
