The charts aren't fair.

I would say Coldplay are far from poor.

I wonder how far up the YTD chart they can get by the end of the year.

I'd say Top 5 is pretty certain. What did the last album sell?

Sigala has #3 on lock in the singles and JB is looking at another 110k+ for 'Love Yourself' (assuming some streaming data is missing).

In the albums, Adele sold 60.8k yesterday, Coldplay sold 22.5k, Elvis Presley sold 18.5k (so will clear 100k this week) and JB sold 15.2k (will clear 90k).

Jess Glynne and Jeff Lynne (confusing!) both cleared 10k yesterday too.

Have Little Mix closed the gap on Jess at all?

Jess sold 45.9k so far with 10.2k yesterday; Little Mix sold 38.4k so far with 9.7k so far - won't be overtaking this week!

A Head Full Of Dreams looks set to become Coldplay's second fastest-selling album. How dare Naughty Boy overtake Sigma. Looks like Mariah Carey may miss the top 10

Thanks.

If it weren't for Coldplay performing on the X factor final I'd fancy my money on Elvis overtaking them next week.

It's looking at 240k for the week which would put it as their fourth faster selling, follow X&Y (464k), Viva la Vida (302k, in three days I think) and A Rush of Blood to the Head (274k).

How much has Fleur sold?

23.8k

I agree - Elvis could be looking at 130k+ and probably even more on Christmas week! :drama:

delighted sigala is looking good for another top3 smash tomorrow! :yahoo:  :yahoo:

the run of >100k chart sales for the #1 single should easily stretch to 7 weeks ~ who would've thought that was still even possible a few months ago?

those sales for godele are still humongous~ *__*

Asda have a great offer, 3 chart CD's for £20 but it's only their top 15 and no doubles of course. Includes Adele, Elvis, Little Mix, Jeff Lynne, Jess Glynne and 1D. So great if you want 3 or some presents.

That means she sold only 34.3k on Tuesday? (210.6k Tue update)

I wonder why such a big difference between the 2 days..

Ben H did 18K on week 1 right? Fleur already beaten that (even if she charts lower)

So if Adele did 60k yday she could still do another 100k to her total??

Great to see the top 3 sailing past 100k copies in the albums. I remember Christmases where the entire top 10 would break that on Xmas week itself :0

With Coldplay's first week sales, even they would have beaten NOW 92 to the top had they released at the same time. Shawn Mendes' position please? I bet it's at #41

Yeah, that works out right, but as you say it doesn't seem right.

#42, hard to tell if he'll be Top 40 officially.
