HE'S WRONG. 'Always Be My Baby' is very very very very good, and a deserved Top 3 finisher! :cheer:

 

It was the final release from Mariah's hugely successful album 'Daydream', and became her 11th #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 - and at this point this tied her with Madonna and Whitney Houston for most #1 singles by a female artist. Mariah achieved this many #1s in just under 6 years! It spent 2 weeks at #1 in May 1996. It peaked at #3 in the UK, making it the highest charting single from that album ('Fantasy' and 'Open Arms' peaked at #4, 'One Sweet Day' at #6) which was pretty impressive given that it was the last single. As of Summer 2014 it ranked as her 11th best selling single, and is certified Silver.

 

Critics praised 'Always Be My Baby', singling it out as a highlight from the album. Mariah also received a Grammy nomination with this song, for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

I've voted for 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' btw. Obviously adore it, but 'Fantasy' is one of my faves of all time. Also Joseph's reasoning - Fantasy keeps giving all year round. *.*

Always Be My Baby is my fave Mariah song, glad it's made the top 3 at least. Both AIWFCIY and Fantasy are fantastic, but the former is my fave out of the 2 though, so I'm gonna go for the latter.
