What is this about Thursday streams not being included?

What is this about Thursday streams not being included?

 

Streaming data is always missing the previous day, so they work out Thursday streams by upweighting the averages of the previous six days, which isn't particularly helpful when an event or celebration causes major rises to happen to a lot of songs on Thursday, as these aren't reflected in the chart whatsoever.

Biography

I think it's something like Spotify don't submit their data on time so streams throughout the week are upweighed for Thursday streams.

So if a song, eg. Mariah, gets massive streams on Thursday, it's official streams in the chart would be less as it did less throughout the week :(

Yeah, essentially Mariah probably lost about 2-3k sales because of this, so feel free to be annoyed if her top ten gap is less than this!

This 1d song is decent.

This top 10 is actually shockingly bad. History is also terrible :puke2:

This one is quite an epic chart history, isn't it? So many entries spread within 4 decades (although 2000s barely count but still), with only one of them entering the top-10!

Yay at History making the top 10 now, it has a fantastic chorus, I'd like it to continue climbing but #8 is still a great peak for a post-album single nowadays. I do hope we get a video too, even if it's a montage.
