Hopefully we get a chart rundown pretty soon, failing that Radio 1 might update their chart online for the lower end of the chart.

So we have to wait to find out what 30-40 is, just because they decided to waste time with all those Christmas #1s? Great.

 

If the chart was only delivered at 10:45 though.... They are delivering it about 3 hours earlier than normal because it is usually issued to Radio 1 and others about 1pm. And it does need to be checked. Imagine if they had to re-issue it and it changed the number 1? And today I am listening along because even I don't have the chart yet :)

Christopher Anton "Chris" Rea (/ˈriːə/ REE-ə; born 4 March 1951) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, recognisable for his distinctive, husky voice and slide guitar playing. This success earned him the Grammy Award nomination for the Best New Artist in 1979. Great result for Chris Rea. I imagine a lot of these older christmas songs will continue to build in terms of positions as streaming continues to increase in popularity and people rely more on christmas playlists for their tunes than downloading them.
