Craig David's live lounge has had more effect than most of the actual normal live lounges! It's gone viral and even given Justin Bieber's Love Yourself a decent boost. Top ten within the hour?

9 years since his last proper hit, and even in 2007 it seemed incredible that he still had relevance! Good for him, it's a strong single.

13 Little Mix Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo)

Poor Snakehips, Tinashe and Chance. It looks like Little Mix might be first to get into the top 10. Either way, I'm really glad Radio 1 has kept it on the A list for another week, so it can solidify itself as a hit. I'm sure it'll manage more than a couple of weeks top 40.

If this the start of a garage revival or a huge Craig David comeback, 2016 is going to be a good year! :cheer:

It's a nice surprise hit but I'm not going to be holding my breath for either of those happening tbh!

Would it be wishful thinking to suggest this might be a possible future #1? It seems to generate a huge amount of buzz whenever Craig David does anything (first XF where he didn't even perform the song, now the Live Lounge) and its airplay has still only really just started, currently still only C-List rotation on R1 :o

(Answer: it is wishful thinking because it's actually a good song :nocheer: but nonetheless hopefully it can go at least top 10 overall )

The holy trinity of Heartbroken, What’s It Gonna Be and Daddy-O (lol) were far too long ago now. I’m all for a 2016 garage revival.

I really think that it could maybe go top 5 officially though, I feel like it's sure to become at least a long running top 10.

The new Shift K3Y song has started to be added by the chart relevant stations, so one to watch for!

Of course he released the brilliant 'Touch' in 2014 and there were a few garage-tinged chart hits in 2013 but the success of Touch felt like a real one off at the time.

LOL, memories of that 2007-8 "garage revival" that only ever lasted two songs :P Overshadowed by the Eurodance revival of summer 2008 when Basshunter was big and Scooter randomly became relevant again out of nowhere. I forgot about Daddy-O - I always think of Delinquent's 'My Destiny' as the third one, and when that underperformed at #19 it didn't last that long other than a random second hit for Platnum.

It seems a bit too early for a 90s garage revival, I remember years ago predicting a "nu-trance" boom around 2019-2020. But then 'Touch' did pretty well a couple years back - actually rather enjoying WTBD, as I wrote ages ago it bridges the past and present really nicely!

Ooh. Excellent! He was way down at about 150/250 (can't remember which exactly) or something just yesterday! That's amazing for him. Please be another top 40 hit for him! (Glad Radio 1 are still giving him A-List support )

I thought it was released months ago that's why I'm surprised it's so high (and getting airplay).

He's so talented and deserves some major success. COME ON RALEIGH!!

Yes #1 please. Surely it's not impossible? As you say, any little thing seems to give the song a big boost!

I am so hoping 'All My Friends' isn't going to stall between the 11-15 mark. Now down to #14 as it's been overtaken by Little Mix. It is still getting bright green updates though so hopefully it can keep on climbing. Just now that 'When The Bassline Drops' and 'Secret Love Song' are going to be in the top 10, it won't have to just overtake Fleur and Justin but also Coldplay now and there is a good 0.07 gap between them. Hopefully it can get enough steam as I need it to be a top 10 hit rather than just a middling top 20 one.

It seems to have been given another push with a sequel to the music video released in November and his album is coming in February. I suspect it'll only last another week or so on the R1 playlist though so time is running out for it!
