My favourite of your potentials is of course Won't Stop though (one of my favourite tracks of the year), I am guessing you maybe didn't choose that as it sounds too Buzzjack Mountain and wanted to maintain your South Danaelandian identity :lol:

1) I prefer 'Up Till Dawn (On The Move)' as a song.

2) I knew you'd be banned this month so would lose out on your guaranteed 18 points for if I did enter 'Won't Stop' :lol:

3) I'd say 'Won't Stop' still fits in with the identity of South Danaelanda, although I would like to broaden our perceived 'sound' (hopefully that effect has been somewhat achieved with us sending more trance this year than usual and also a synth pop song in 'The City Don't Care').

Haha you knew I was a big fan of it then?! Yes I would have almost certainly gave it 18 points, definitely my song of the summer and its sad Radio 1 didn't daytime playlist it to allow it the chance of becoming big in the UK.

So we're now in the final yo. The second time we've sent Lucas & Steve right into the final but will it also repeat the feat of them almost coming last as well? (seems likely). Make sure to vote for it and include it in your votes. :D

 

It is our ninth consecutive qualifier, just one short of our current record (68-77) which we're very proud of.

Well we flopped, and very nearly DNQed too; qualifying by one point. Going to try one of our other recent potentials then, we really need to keep up this streak then maybe once that breaks I'll experiment a bit more (soz fans of Trancaelanda you'll have to wait).

For BJSC 97 we send Belgian producer DJ Licious with his D-Licious house anthem 'I Hear You Calling', equipped with token uncredited diva vocals so if you enjoyed one of last year's entries of ours - Mickey 'It's My Man' - you'll probably love this also. It's a very energetic and up tempo track to follow last month's slightly more chilled bop, and it's the second song in our summer series in which we hope to capture the sound of the summer musically in three songs.

 

Chartwise it is currently at #5 in the national charts following a number of weeks spent climbing the top 40. We hope you like it at least half as much as we do, and if you are bopping then make sure to get us our 10th consecutive qualification and match our current record by voting for us.

Excellent entry, this is such a great tune.

 

Definitely the best tuba containing house track yet (there have been a few others this decade like Walking With Elephants, but although that was great I prefer this because of the uplifting vocal in it)

 

Entering it is cheating a tiny bit as it is already a well known tune because of Radio 1 dance anthems play, but I won't hold that against it!
