I wish 'Fashion' was more recognised, I think that's my favourite of Bowie and I'd like to see it make more of an appearance.

'Let's Dance' and 'Life On Mars?' are my other favourites.

Imagine, just for a second, an all-Bowie top three...

That's probably unlikely. But that would be the ultimate tribute to him.

Is it too much to ask for 'Hallo Spaceboy' to chart?

I suspect so. Not in the Itunes top 1500 at the moment while over 130 Bowie tracks/versions are.

Already lots of Twitter jokes (at least I'm presuming) saying how sad it is that the guy who made House Every Weekend has died...

I find it odd that David Bowie is only light green on Kworb despite a huge jump with 'Heroes'

HE COULD HAVE DIED ON A FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!1 (He must never have got the memo about the charts being moved to a Friday...)

---

All seriousness though. Seriously gutting news! Very pleased to see 'Heroes' heading to the top faster. I think he could actually get quite high due to low sales at the moment and I imagine he'll have enough of an impact through streaming.

To think I watched 'Lazarus' yesterday, and his hiding in the cupboard/coffin alongside with the whole video made me really uncomfortable. And I didn't know about the disease! Now he passed away.

13 & 26. Heroes

15. Life On Mars?

18. Let's Dance

25 & 40. Starman

28. Lazarus

I'm surprised the amount of Bowie the radios are playing, I knew they'd be playing tribute, but Radio 1 are playing a song and hour and even more surprising is the amount of Bowie Capital FM are playing. China Girl is on there right now, an inspired choice, they also played Dancing in the Street earlier which I also love.
I know it doesn't mean much as Bowie is sure to push them out soon but good to see Snakehips back in the top 10 at least for a while.

WOW! I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this.

14. David Bowie - Life On Mars

513. David Zowie - House Every Weekend (Radio Edit)

I suspect so. Not in the Itunes top 1500 at the moment while over 130 Bowie tracks/versions are.

Currently 158 tracks, and 58 different songs!

I expect him to pick up heavy streaming, too. The sidebar on my Spotify has pretty much 100% of my friends listening to Bowie today.

key 103 did a whole hour of his songs earlier and are playing him every hour since too

"Life On Mars" is my fave Bowie track closely followed by "Magic Dance" lol that's at no.84! Is his other "Labyrinth" songs available on iTunes? as that's the only one appearing in the top 1500 atm.

EDIT: "Underground" is at no.680 but there's only a cover version of "As The World Falls Down" at no.517

Current YouTube viewcount for Lazarus: 2,368,611

It will be interesting to see what the view count will be by the end of today.

'Heroes' only peaked at #24 originally didn't it? So I guess we're probably looking at a new peak for that at the very least.

(Actually, considering it's #4 combined right now I'd say that's definite0

It's already Monday, so I think it'll be no higher than 25ish this week. Usually with things like this the songs start falling sharply after a couple of days but didn't the MJ songs hang around for a couple of weeks, when he passed? Surely Bowie is big enough for similar kind of dominance?
