Heroes is decreasing quickly now so I'd be surprised if it even finished as high as #3, not forgetting it's lacking three whole days of sales for the week.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bowie missed the top 10 altogether, since it stalled and fell a little earlier than I expected.

Is "Life On Mars" not fondly known in the US and Australia where its highest versions are only no.163 and no.66 respectively. I always assumed it was his most known song?

 

EDIT: According to Wikipedia it was only a hit in the UK(no.3) and Ireland (no.4) :o :o

re: Australia, it did a bit better than that because at peak, it had its top two versions nearly equal, and it was one of the highest on Spotify yesterday. In saying that, the only time it ever charted here was in 2009.

'Lush Life' was played on BBC Radio 1 earlier, what a weird release strategy! I'm guessing this could go top 5 next week if Radio 1 playlist it tonight and Capital begin spinning the song. It's got an impressive amount of streaming so it's good that top 10 seems like a certainty at least.

I'm not sure I'd expect Zara to take off that quickly, I think it might have a run similar to Never Forget You in the first week but with a faster rise into the top 10 thanks to the already high streaming.

Yeah, there's no way that Zara Larsson is going Top 10 next week. “Never Forget You” is still burning up UK airplay and the new single basically has none.

 

Plus there are a number of singles building in momentum that are going to go Top 10 next week - e.g. Snakehips/Tinashe/Chance The Rapper, Major Lazer/Mya/Fuse ODG. Justin Bieber will certainly still have 3 in the Top 10, Shawn Mendes is likely to take the #1 - it doesn't leave much room.

 

Its streaming isn't that impressive either - probably enough for a Top 75 placing on its own this Friday and around 8K in total.
